No doubting his talent, but looks increasingly hard to win with these days despite getting plenty of help from the handicapper, and cannot be backed with any great confidence as a result.
Landed a minor contest over C&D in July and put a couple or ordinary runs behind her when second at Thirsk last time under this promising claimer. Runs off the same mark and represents a top stable.
Prolific on dirt in Greece, but yet to offer a great deal in two starts since returning to these shores, and remains opposable despite tumbling in the weights.
Now 5lb lower than when second at Windsor in May at this trip, and not been doing an awful lot wrong on turf since. Should strip fitter for a run in amateur company at Newmarket last month, and interesting in first-time eyeshields.
Justified market confidence to open his account over 7f here in August, and given a bit too much to do when fourth over extended 1m at Wolverhampton since. Still fairly treated, and shortlisted.
In good form earlier in the season, but last couple of efforts have been poor, and he needs to bounce back.
Inconsistent sort who won narrowly over 6f here last month, but followed that with a poor run at Kempton, and has stamina to prove for this longer trip.
Has shown ability on all three starts, his best effort when fourth to Collide at Carlisle last month. Made running when below form last time, and handicapper has erred on side of caution with opening mark.
In good form on Polytrack of late, winning at Kempton in July, and placed off current mark on both subsequent starts there, all over 1m. Needs to prove he's as good on turf, but every chance that is the case.
Has an excellent pedigree, and split subsequent winners when fourth to Herculean on debut at Ascot last year. Yet to build on that, but had wind surgery prior to return, and on a tempting mark starting out in handicaps after a break.
Won over C&D in April and bounced back to form when going close over further here in August. Bit below form last time, but could well bounce back at her favoured venue.
Yard in great form, but this son of owner's Yorgunnabelucky has a mixed pedigree, and made an inauspicious debut for the stable when last of 15 at Newmarket in August, although did have the excuse of a slipped saddle.
