In no sort of form in three starts this year, and yard without a winner since August, so easy enough to put a line through her name here.

Just 3lb higher than when winning over 1m here in July, and not disgraced since, but hasn't really proved her stamina beyond that trip, and further increase in distance is a concern.

Has generally held his form since winning over 1¼m at Chelmsford in March, and bettered expectations when third at Goodwood last time. One to keep in mind on that form.

Enjoyed a good run of form with two wins (one over this C&D) and a close second here in the summer, but well below form on last couple of outings, and may have done enough for the time being.

Has gained three wins here (all at shorter) from 18 track appearances, and ran creditably when fifth to Right About Now over C&D last time. Won't be far away.

Has gradually got more competitive as handicapper has released his grip, and finally came good from 4lb lower mark at Ffos Las a month ago. Should remain competitive now she's found her level.

Made all to win over 1½m at Lingfield (AW) in May, but that was a weak affair, and he has made only minor impact since. Out of his depth last time, but limited appeal, even in this company.

Put a disappointing effort behind her when finishing runner-up over this trip at Brighton last month, and confirmed her return to form by filling same spot at Catterick next time. One to bear in mind, for all she's creeping up the weights.

Not beaten that far at Wolverhampton in April, but unsighted in three other starts in the early part of the year, and make no appeal on return from a lengthy break here.

Travelling well when saddle slipped on penultimate start, and would have gone closer but for being short of room in 1½m handicap at Kempton last time, so needs to be borne in mind.

Winner off 3lb lower mark in a 1¼m handicap at Chelmsford in August, and not discredited next time before failing to stay 1m5f at that track on latest start. Stamina a slight worry again here, but not ruled out.

Ran quite well when third in a C&D handicap in August, but followed that with a poor run at Brighton, and others much more persuasive in form terms.

Showed very little for Gerry O'Neill in Ireland, and ostensibly disappointing on debut for current yard, but shaped better than the result at Catterick, and interesting with leading rider booked. Market should reveal what's expected.

Still a maiden, but getting close to shedding that status, and best effort yet when second of 13 to Kirkland Forever in apprentice handicap at Brighton last time. Cheekpieces on now, and not dismissed from calculations.

Forecasts

Ember's Glow (4/1), Queen Adelaide (5/1), Lily Ash (6/1), Homing Star (7/1), Kilcoran (15/2), Tyrsal (8/1), Tigerfish (9/1), Tilsworth Lukey (10/1), Oakley Mimosa (10/1), Royal Hall (10/1), Sir Fred (12/1), Anna Jammeela (16/1), Zarrar (25/1), Our Cilla (33/1), Velvet Voice (33/1), Sexy Secret (33/1)

Verdict

Low-grade stuff, but plenty of interest, and it's the three-year-olds who are most appealing, with KILCORAN taken to improve on previous poor form on just her second start for Phil Kirby with the booking of Jamie Spencer taking the eye. Queen Adelaide is again ridden by young Cieren Fallon, who has yet to finish worse than second in his short riding career, and Anna Jameela has had excuses for her last two starts, and figures on a very fair mark if she can offset a wide draw.
  1. Kilcoran
  2. Queen Adelaide
  3. Anna Jammeela
