Won this contest a year ago and recent Newmarket success augurs well in his bid for a repeat. Not so good in a Listed Redcar contest last time, however.
In good form earlier in the season, but recent efforts have been below par. Dropping back down the weights and the fitting of a visor may wake him up.
Ran as though something was amiss at Chelmsford last time, but previous efforts were solid and give him sound claims in this despite his hike up the weights.
Good second to Close Stare at Haydock last month and is closely matched with that rival at these weights. Versatile ground-wise and is much respected.
Winner of two of his five races and has undergone a wind operation since finishing unplaced at Newcastle in July. Unexposed and of interest if the market speaks in his favour.
Third representative for this stable, but looks the least likely following a fruitless season. Well held at Sandown last time.
On something of a losing streak since scoring at Wolverhampton in February. Not obviously well handicapped and others are more appealing.
French import who has finished out of the frame on three starts for current stable. Has something to find despite his drop down the handicap.
In excellent form earlier in the year and latest effort over 1m at this track was quite encouraging. More needed in this, however.
