Solid and consistent in a number of starts over the summer over shorter trips. Goes on the ground but 12lb higher than last winning mark may stop him.

Improved on debut run when winning a Listowel maiden over 7f last month at the Harvest festival. Appears to have been given a reasonable mark and could hit the frame.

Largely well held in a number of starts since winning at Sligo last month. Appears to need some relief from the handicapper.

Got his head back in front at Gowran four starts back but hasn't managed to land a blow from his revised mark since. Can't completely rule out but career best needed.

In good form this season running well in defeat including last time out a head behind Dream Walker at Galway last month off a 4lb lower mark. Likely to run well once again.

Perfect Soldierp31

Lost his way a little since being upped in trip at the Curragh and Listowel last month. Worth a market check back over this distance.

Forecasts

Onlyhuman (7/2), Insignia Of Rank (9/2), Sirjack Thomas (9/2), Canary Row (5/1), Rattling Jewel (10/1), Roibeard (10/1), Gymkhana (12/1), Shatharaat (14/1), Gentil J (14/1), Kerineya (20/1), Perfect Soldier (25/1)

Verdict

C&D winner CANARY ROW is coming back down to a workable mark and can go close here now 2lb lower than last winning mark. The eight-year-old will have to see off the attentions of Gentil J who has clearly progressed over the summer winning a Galway contest last month on heavy ground and the Mick Halford-trained Kerineya who is better than her last run at the Curragh.
  1. Canary Row
  2. Gentil J
  3. Kerineya
