Dual winner (7f/1m) on good to soft in 2015 and 2016, but losing run now at 15. Would have claims from this mark if repeating his Hamilton run (1m3f) last month, but below that last time and has stamina to prove over this far.
Back in better form with a win at Epsom (1m4f, good to soft) on his penultimate start, when 4lb lower. Another respectable run from this mark at Ffos Las last time, but has a bit to prove over this slightly longer trip.
Grade 1-winning hurdler who was last seen running in a Listed chase here in April. Maiden on the Flat and was last seen in this code beaten a short head over C&D from 2lb lower last summer. Not ruled out, but may need it.
Soft ground scorer at Carlisle (1m1f) in August, when 5lb lower. Went close over 1m4f at Haydock latest. Well worth a try over this far. Unexposed and considered.
Triple winner at up to 1m4½f in Ireland, including on soft. Out of sorts on her last two starts, but is back on a more feasible mark and not ruled out.
Fast ground Thirsk winner (1m4f) in June, when 1lb higher. Bit to prove on what we have seen since then and also in these conditions.
Dual soft ground winner this season, the more recent over this C&D last month, when 2lb lower. Disappointing on both starts since, but can't write him off in these conditions and back over this C&D.
Enjoys getting his toe in and arrives on the back of a narrow soft ground Hamilton win (1m4f), for which he has gone up 2lb. More needed from this mark, but entitled to consideration.
Multiple National Hunt winner at up to 2m4f, who is 0-4 in this code. Fitness and stamina not issues and looks on a workable Flat mark for his top trainer. Interesting.
Won a 1m6f (heavy) Carlisle handicap for former trainer Iain Jardine. On a reasonably competitive mark if able to produce his best after a break on his first start for this trainer. Market check.
Stays 1m6f in the mud. Out of sorts last time, but showed two starts back that he can be very competitive from this mark. Not ruled out.
6L winner of a 0-55 at Hamilton (1m4f, good to soft) in August. Has since gone close from marks of 54 and 55, the latter over C&D (soft) recently. Needs to eek out a bit more but no doubt she has claims.
Without a win since 2015. Sees out this trip and acts on any ground, but recent efforts lack much encouragement.
Back to form in both codes in the spring and won here over 1m7f (good to firm) in June. 5lb higher here. Handles soft ground, but record when fresh not ideal.
Yet to make the frame from 11 starts. Little recent encouragment. Can only watch.
0-8 and yet to make the frame. Others preferred.

Cubomania (11/10), Pammi (6/1), Motahassen (8/1), Get Out Of Jail (10/1), Last Garrison (10/1), Guitar Pete (10/1), Foresee (14/1), Dew Pond (14/1), Bobby Jean (20/1), Handsome Bob (20/1), Zealous (22/1), Elite Icon (22/1), Princess Nearco (33/1), Las Tunas (33/1), In Focus (33/1), Molly Kaye (50/1), Jaffar (66/1)
Not a huge number of these appeal on paper, with Foresee holding potential for those who prefer to side with a solid option and Irish raiders Bobby Jean and Cubomania both interesting. However, the suggestion is PAMMI, who has been running well from similar marks and may be able to find the necessary. Motahassen is unexposed and a likely contender, while Last Garrison and Handsome Bob are others who could go well.
- Pammi
- Cubomania
- Motahassen
