Just the sole win for previous trainer Aidan O'Brien, but is unbeaten in three starts for Jeremy Noseda in 2018; drops back in trip (no issue) after a commanding win in the 7f Class 2 Chelmsford City Cup latest; 4-5 on the AW.
25% AW strike-rate (4-16) and goes well for Oisin Murphy; that said, he finished well down the field behind Cenotaph in the 7f Chelmsford City Cup last month; Yarmouth winner (6f) since.
Absent since finishing last of seven at Windsor in July (5f), so there's a distinct possibility that he'll need this race; 3-13 on the AW, including when a narrow winner of a Class 2 C&D handicap in March (beat Udontdodou).
Well-travelled, finished third to Intisaab in 6f Group 3 at Doha (good) in February; showed clear promise on his return from a five month break over 7f at Chelmsford recently when a closing 2+L third to Straight Right.
Has raced exclusively over 6f during a seven-race career, but brought his record on the AW to 3-5 (60%) with a career best performance when beating Procedure by 1L at Chelmsford (Class 3 handicap) last month.
Cost 300,000gns as a juvenile, but enjoyed a productive 2017 campaign for Jeremy Noseda, including when a comfortable C&D winner in October (2/9f, novice); had wind surgery since his last appearance in March; wears cheekpieces on debut for R.Cowell.

Forecasts
Cenotaph (5/6), Breathless Times (3/1), Mazzini (6/1), Gulliver (10/1), Merhoob (14/1), Tomily (16/1), Lansky (33/1)
The feature race of the evening at Kempton with the thriving CENOTAPH pitted against the returning Lansky who enjoyed a productive juvenile campaign in 2017 for his former handler Jeremy Noseda. Noseda has certainly worked out how to get the very best out of Cenotaph who now boasts an enviable 80% AW strike-rate (4-5). Assuming that he handles Kempton (no reason as to why he shouldn't), this three-time Chelmsford City winner looks to be fully capable of maintaining his positive momentum at the expense of another rock-solid 6f AW performer Breathless Times.
