Showed very little in three maidens when trained by Clive Cox but improved from yard debut to win with ease at Wolverhampton last time out. Could be more to come over this trip and a 6lb rise certainly fair.
Still a maiden after seven starts but signs of improvement at Ayr last time when seventh of 15. Down another 2lb and gets De Sousa in the saddle for the first time.
Impressive when winning at Doncaster in July but struggled on a slower surface last time at Carlisle. Still on a workable mark but ground seemingly against him again this time and has a wide draw to cope with.
Still a maiden after seven starts and tailed off on each of his last three outings. Hard to fancy on that basis.
Won on debut for this yard in a Southwell maiden but he's been struggling off this sort of mark in handicaps since and others make more appeal. Wears first-time visor.
Won on her seasonal return at this course over 1m2f. Hasn't built on that in anyway in six starts since and hard to fancy until the handicapper relents.
Not consistent at all but capable on his day and did too much too soon at Newcastle last time. A return to the form that saw him finish runner-up at Ayr should see him get competitive, though draw doesn't look ideal.
Heavy ground winner in Salisbury in April and while he hasn't won since, he's been holding his form well in defeat. Not beaten far at Haydock last time and first-time cheekpieces may eke out some improvement.
Has won his last two starts over hurdles but his Flat form prior to those runs was only moderate and he has a fair bit to find on form. May do better when stepped up in trip.
Useful on his day and while he's far from consistent, he gets his optimum conditions here. Yard flying at present and holds each-way claims.
Improving a little with each start and not disgraced at Haydock last time. Effective on soft ground and given further 2lb relief from the handicapper.
Won at Wetherby at the start of the campaign but that's his only win to date and he's struggled since. Wide draw not ideal and others preferred.

A 6lb rise for NELSON RIVER looks manageable and he's largely unexposed at this trip. First-time headgear may see Master Grey in a better light and Beer With The Boys should be able to get competitive soon from his falling handicap mark.
