In good heart since joining this stable from Philip Hide's yard. Third of nine over slightly farther at Chelmsford last time and runs off the same mark.
Not seen out since falling in a valuable handicap hurdle at Haydock in May. This looks to be a warm-up race for his return to jumping so he is readily opposed.
Advertised his well being by winning at Leicester last month. Has won at this venue and ought to be able to cope with his higher rating.
Improvement since being gelded and showed the right spirit to score over C&D last month. Has gone up 5lb, but is lightly raced and open to further progress.
Fair run when fourth at Windsor last time, but her record of 3-8 suggests she is more effective on AW surfaces. Fairly handicapped and can get involved.
Well beaten at Pontefract on his latest outing, but previous run behind Moving Forward over C&D was not without promise. Handicapper is starting to relent.
Good efforts to finish second over C&D on last two starts. Handicap mark is going in the wrong direction, however, and he faces a stiff task against a few of these rivals.
First run for this stable when finishing a distant 10th of 12 over C&D in January. Has been given a rest and returns to action off 5lb lower, but others boast stronger profiles.
Dual winner on the AW, but has failed to pull up any trees in three starts for current stable. Handicap mark is falling, but he has plenty to prove.
Off the mark at the seventh attempt when scoring on turf under this jockey at Pontefract recently. Higher mark to contend with, but is progressive and has experience on the AW.
Without a win this year and recent efforts have been only fair. Has been given a chance by the handicapper, but no obvious reason why he should be winning this.
Bits of promise on five starts for David Simcock. Has been gelded and has joined a yard which does really well with its acquisitions from other stables, but he has not been sighted for almost a year and may well need the run.
First run following wind surgery saw him score over 1m2f at Epsom, but subsequent displays have not been so good. Well beaten off this mark at this track last week.
Not without promise in three runs in France for Alain De Royer-Dupre. Switches to handicap company for his British debut and is an interesting contender.
Forecasts
Moving Forward (5/2), Refrain (9/2), El Borracho (15/2), Archimento (8/1), Spanish History (8/1), Psychotic (8/1), Liva (16/1), War Brigade (16/1), Reckless Wave (20/1), Bombero (33/1), Lopes Dancer (33/1), Havana Beat (50/1), Roudrapour (66/1), Sureness (100/1)
Any money for French import Roudrapour would be worth noting, while War Brigade is another to keep an eye on as he makes his debut for a shrewd stable. Moving Forward is living up to his name and is respected, but this may go to REFRAIN, who got off the mark under this jockey last time and could have much more to offer for his powerful stable. Reckless Wave and Psychotic are others to note in a competitive heat.
