Dubawi colt, dam a Group 2 winner (multiple Group 1 placed), half sister to Group 3 winner over this trip. Showed plenty of promise on debut and took a big step forward at Newcastle on only start since. Hard to beat despite carrying a penalty.
Dubawi colt, cost 240,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a Listed winner and half-sister to a 1m2f Group 1 winner. Well bred and yard capable of readying a debutante but this looks tough.
Zoffany colt, dam a sister to three winners over further. May need more of a stamina test to be seen to best effect.
Pivotal colt, cost 115,000 gns as a yearling and 230,000 gns as a Breeze-up purchase. Half-brother to a 1m5f winner and dam a half-sister to eight winners. Disappointed on debut but should improve for that.
Dubawi colt, cost 1,500,000 gns. Dam a five-time Group 1 winner including Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Beautifully bred and expected to be ready for his debut here.
Dubawi colt, brother to a juvenile winner. Dam a winner over this trip as a juvenile, half-sister to a 1m4f Group 1 winner. Dettori prefers Turgenev and this looks tough on debut.
Galileo colt, cost $300,000 as a yearling. Brother to a 1m5f winner. Dam placed in Group company as a juvenile and sister to Group 1 winner over this trip. Showed plenty of promise on debut when third of 16 and sure to improve on that here.
Shamardal colt, half-brother to two juvenile winners. Dam a Group 3 winner as a juvenile. Yard can ready a debutante but this looks tough.
Pivotal colt, half-brother to a winner over this trip. Dam a juvenile winner over 6f and half-sister to a Group 3 winner. Market likely to reveal expectations on debut here.
Frankel colt, cost 260,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to two winners. Dam a juvenile winner in Listed class and related to a 1m4f Group 2 winner. Yard flying at present but this is a tough ask on debut.
Lope De Vega filly, dam a sister to a winner over this trip and half-sister to a 1,000 Guineas. Interesting enough on pedigree but market likely to reveal expectations.
Dabirsim filly, cost $500,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to a Listed winner over 1m. Others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Turgenev (10/11), Il Paradiso (4/1), Light And Dark (7/1), Faylaq (14/1), Truly Adored (14/1), Accountability (14/1), Infuse (20/1), Franz Kafka (33/1), Top Top (33/1), Red Phoenix (33/1), Asensio (33/1), Dragon Sun (66/1), Dequall (100/1)
TURGENEV looks like he will be hard to beat after an impressive win at Newcastle last time and even carrying a penalty for that success, it's likely he will take another sizable step forward here. From the newcomers in the line up, Faylaq could hardly be better bred and he's worth watching in the market for this. Il Paradiso was an eye-catching third on debut at Gowran Park and he's worthy of respect given how much the trainer's juveniles can improve from first run to second.
- Turgenev
- Faylaq
- Il Paradiso
