Attainment10
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: Harry Bentley| T: J Tate
7/4
Nicely bred Exceed And Excel colt who was very green on debut at Newmarket. Improved significantly when third at Leicester upped to this trip in a strong Novice contest and looks a leading contender.

33/1
£160,000 yearling by Society Rock. Trainer's runners improve for their debut but he was sent off long odds and tailed off. Others preferred.

33/1
Debutante and a son of Lope De Vega. Future likely to come over stiffer tests but worth a precautionary market check.

20/1
€38,000 Mukhadram gelding who failed to build on debut when just moderate late headway in an albeit decent contest. Likely to find better opportunities in handicaps.

Global Army24
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: G Mosse| T: E Walker
16/1
Cost 115,000 gns but yet to live up to that while showing moderate progress in three starts so far. Was unlucky in the run at Brighton but this still looks a tough ask and may better in handicaps.
Debutante who cost $35,000 as a foal. Stable yet to have a two-year-old winner this season and looks best watched.

Horse silk
150/1
Dream Ahead colt who was sold for 30,000 gns as a foal and £35,000 as a yearling. Has finished last in two of first three starts and hard to make a case for.

Horse silk
5/4
Well-bred Dutch Art colt who is bred on the dam's side to be a forward juvenile. Represents powerful connections on debut and has to be respected.
Son of Olympic Glory who cost £40,000 as a yearling and has only beaten one horse home in two starts so far. Others look far stronger candidates.

Voltaic15
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: R Havlin| T: P & O Cole| OR:  81
6/1
Promising third on debut at Windsor when staying on well and again doing best work late when third in a valuable York maiden. Needs to bounce back from disappointing run but sets the standard on first two runs.

(3)
Horse silk
16/1
Daughter of Aussie Rules who improved out of sight when staying on fourth over this C&D. Didn't get the clearest of runs and looks one to follow.

(9)
Horse silk
50/1
Cheap purchase who doesn't catch the eye on breeding on debut. Probably best watched for stable currently struggling for winners.

Forecasts

Silent Hunter (5/4), Attainment (7/4), Voltaic (6/1), Gaslight (16/1), Global Army (16/1), Eden Gardens (20/1), Molivaliente (33/1), Casting (33/1), Chancer (33/1), Maisie Moo (50/1), Usanecolt (150/1), Rusper Dreams (150/1)

Verdict

A couple of runners improved significantly from first to second start with GASLIGHT, who was making notable late headway, just getting the verdict over Attainment. If Voltaic returns to the form of his York third he'd be hard to beat and having shown a preference for quicker turf ground then this AW surface may suit. Silent Hunter should be noted in the betting on debut.
