In fine form when rattling off a hat-trick of wins during the summer. Not the same force after climbing the weights, and disappointing again at Ascot last time when a visor replaced his usual blinkers. This is easier, at least.
A 125,000 gns purchase who did nothing wrong in winning 5f novice events at Bath and Doncaster on quick ground last spring, but absent since finishing last on nursery debut at Newmarket. Has had wind surgery since, so may do better, but risky.
Slipped in the weights before scoring at Brighton in August, and ran well again there next time. Below form on latest start at Yarmouth, however, and seems back in the handicapper's grip.
Progressive this season and gained third win of the season when edging out Smokey Lane at Ffos Las on his latest start. More to do on revised terms, but straightforward, and sure to give his running again.
Recorded a first handicap victory when winning over C&D in July on firm ground. Has kept his form pretty well since, but has been slow into stride on recent starts, and can't afford to keep that habit.
Landed a hat-trick over 6f at Ffos Las in July/August, and unlucky not to win again there three starts back when finishing with a rattle. Excuses last time, and current mark probably not beyond her granted the rub of the green.
Standout effort this year when beating Belated Breath at Goodwood over this trip, and while he disappointed next time when avoiding a penalty, that run can be forgiven on account of trip and draw. Capable of bouncing back.
Dropped back successfully from 1m to win a 6f Windsor contest in the stewards room before another good effort over the trip at Ffos Las next time. Below best at Goodwood on latest start, but usual cheekpieces missing there, and are reapplied now.
Gradually back to form before scoring at Wolverhampton in July, but held off revised mark in three starts since, and markedly below form at Windsor last time. Needs to bounce back, and others better treated in any case.
Fairly treated on form of his second at Ffos Las in August, but has run poorly on either side of that effort, and cheekpieces reached for now. Will find better opportunities than this.

Smokey Lane (7/2), Blackheath (4/1), Beyond Equal (9/2), Sir Roderic (9/2), Lightning Charlie (7/1), Grey Galleon (7/1), Sweet Pursuit (8/1), Mujassam (9/1), Mutanaaseq (11/1), Anonymous John (22/1), Sir Billy Wright (40/1)
GREY GALLEON comes from a yard in flying form, and is forgiven a disappointing effort at Sandown. He had previously won well over 6f at Goodwood, and James Doyle takes over from a 7lb claimer now. Smokey Lane is feared most having hinted strongly at a revival last time, while Mutanaaseq needs a market check having had wind surgery following his sole handicap start. He'd looked a smart prospect prior to that, and connections keep the faith.
