Tailed off in every one of his nine starts with hurdles and flat coming alike. Impossible to make a case for him.
Dandy Man was tailed off last in his belated debut at Fairyhouse just last week. Quick turnaround and best watched again here.
Neck second in his second start remains his only real competitive race to date. Sixth of 15 latest at Navan about his level and again appears to have place chances at best.
Started career with three placed efforts and again ran well latest when fourth. Been gelded during a spell on the sidelines and also now receives first-time tongue-tie so not overlooked by any means.
Placed four times in maidens this season and far from disgraced latest when sixth of 28 under front-running tactics at the Curragh. Best form is as good as just about any so fully expecting a bold bid.
Paid the price for being on the front end on debut at Gowran on heavy ground eventually finishing 15th of 17. Faster surface and shorter trip bonuses but still hard to fancy.
Kept on for third beaten 5¼L over 1m1½f on debut at Gowran in early June. Lengthy absence since has to be a concern but that run was certainly promising so claims if ready to do himself justice fitness-wise.
236 days between his two races to date and having been beaten 19L on debut he was then beaten 15½L at Gowran. Hard to find reasons for optimism.
Beaten out of sight in all five races to date. Latest 19L last of seven the closest he's got. Impossible to fancy on evidence so far.
Newcomer by Holy Roman Emperor is closely related to a bumper placed horse in Buddy Rich. Dam won from 6f-1m. Yard's only two winners this season on AW so hard to be confident.
Slight improvement in second start last term when fourth of 17 at Naas beaten 5¾L. That would be competitive form but absence of 364 days is hard to overcome.
Newcomer by Poet's Voice is a sister to a moderate 1m AW Warm Words and half-sister to a 6f two-year-old AW winner. Primarily jumps yard without a winner on the level this year.
Promising two-year-old form led to her being made a 5/4 favourite on return at Leopardstown but she flopped and beat just one home. Six week absence likely to help and fully expecting a bold bid this time.
Promising debut at Gowran when beaten 8¾L into sixth of 17 last month over 1m1½f on heavy ground. Different conditions here but with logical progress she certainly has place possibilities.
Two runs over 10 months apart for different yards both seen her beaten a long way. Hopefully fitter now but hard to see her playing a part.
Close eighth in the Group Three Albany in second start at two represents exceptional form but only seen once since when she was midfield in a heavy ground Listowel maiden. Fitness will be boosted now and surely the one to beat.
6L fifth of ten on debut at Leopardstown over 1m in August far from discouraging. Had a break since and now tongue-tied. Open to improvement so not totally ruled out although more needed.
Forecasts
Snowflakes (9/4), Dawn Trouper (3/1), Minnie Haha (6/1), Spiorad (6/1), California Jumbo (9/1), Fridtjof Nansen (10/1), Escallonia (10/1), Warning Light (33/1), Palmetto Bay (33/1), Bessie Cook (40/1), Loosen Up (40/1), Tahan (66/1), Hit The Rocks (66/1), Earl Of Bunnacurry (100/1), Spittal Field (125/1), Sally Browne (200/1), Tigernmas (200/1)
It is fair to assume that SNOWFLAKES will never come close to her quadruple Group One winning sister Winter but she was only 5L behind the exceptional Alpha Centauri in the Albany last year and that form is on a different level to anything here. She was entitled to have needed her run latest but should be ready now and is fancied to get off the mark. Another useful two-year-old was Minnie Haha and she too flopped on return but likewise could be a different proposition now. Dawn Trouper hasn't run badly in similar contests and could be better now gelded and tongue-tied.
- Snowflakes
- Minnie Haha
- Dawn Trouper
