Has failed to build on a promising run in a Curragh 7f handicap on good ground in July, finishing down the field in a number of below-par starts since August. But this is a much weaker contest and can exploit favourable mark here.
Acquired by Goldophin and Saeed bin Suroor as a four-year-old but never made an appearance for the team. Gentle introduction on return to action last month and worth a check for any market moves.
Useful AW performer but only has one win from 27 starts on turf. Beaten 6L on latest start over C&D last month and holds strong place claims here.
Nothing of note in three disappointing starts since the Galway festival and first time tongue-tie unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
15-race maiden on turf and it has been largely struggle over the best part of the summer. Well below par form looks set to continue here.
Failed to build on a promising second of 10 beaten a neck at Sligo in June with a couple of frustrating defeats over a variety of distances. Dropped in trip.
Well held in a similar contest on the AW at Dundalk last month and needs to improve in this company.
Won a 7f Roscommon handicap on good to firm ground in June off a 4lb higher mark. Has struggled over this trip in the past.
Course winner that has won over this trip. Has produced a number of laboured runs over the summer and looks up against it here.
Winner of a Gowran Park handicap off a 2lb higher mark over two years ago but has largely been bereft of any form since. Hard to see him making any significant impact.
Has now gone 13 runs since last win in 2017 and now finds himself back on a winning mark. May find it difficult back in claiming company here.
Broke her maiden on debut for Mick Channon but struggled in Group company subsequently including eight defeats for current connections including finishing last of nine beaten 22L at Gowran Park last month. Others preferred.
14-race maiden on the Flat and not seen since finishing down the field on the AW at Dundalk in December. Hard to construct much of a case for the mare.
Has hit the frame on just one occasion in six career starts and has appeared to struggle in a number of recent starts since August. Plenty to prove in this contest.
Forecasts
Tennesse Waltz (9/2), Pari Passu (6/1), Georgian Bay (8/1), Reckless Lad (9/1), Santorini Sun (10/1), Natty Dresser (10/1), Fox Dream (10/1), Mister Dancer (10/1), Percy B Shelley (12/1), Settle For Red (14/1), Mountjubilee (16/1), Talented Kid (20/1), American Hustle (25/1), Sweat Equity (33/1)
Trainer Adrian McGuinness appears to have found an ideal opening for his eight-year-old gelding GEORGIAN BAY to add to his 2017 win at Ascot when in the care of Karl Burke. Trainer Denis Hogan gives his Danehill Dancer gelding Mister Dancer a chance to improve from a recent run at Dundalk on the AW and can hit the frame along with Reckless Lad. Percy B Shelley and Tennesse Waltz could go well at a price.
- Georgian Bay
- Mister Dancer
- Reckless Lad
