Had a terrific summer winning five times but has looked in the grip of the handicapper for a while now and tends to go well on speedier tracks than this. vulnerable once again.
Hasn't won since back in 2016 but has been running into form of late. Run very well the last twice at Windsor and is on an attractive mark. Draw is ok and capable of getting involved once more.
Improving filly who won her final start in novice company at Newcastle before putting in two good shifts in handicap company. Well drawn and far less exposed than a lot of these. Sound claims once more.
Good efforts back-to-back at Epsom and Sandown. Nudged up for not winning and was disappointing at Ascot last time when having every chance at halfway. Others have more pressing claims here.
Goes particularity well here with some give in the ground and has won over C&D. took advantage of a draw in the weights and a good draw to win at Beverley last time. Up 6lb but loves it here and has a good inside draw once again. Player.
Likes to dig his toe in the ground so any rain would be a bonus. Mark is falling all the time and was much better than the bare form suggests at Haydock last time when not getting the clearest of runs. Draw has not been kind could could get involved
Sole win came on heavy ground in a maiden. Not been in the best of form and well held when returning from a short break at Thirsk three weeks ago. getting towards a tempting mark but the draw has not been kind.
Still a couple of pounds higher than when wining at Thirsk over this trip back in July. Not been in the best of form lately however but a bounce back to form wouldn't surprise here from a decent draw.
Improving performer who won on just his second start in a handicap at Redcar off a 4lb lower mark. Just failed at Beverley last time and has sound claims of going very well once again here.
Bolted up off a 7lb lower mark at Nottingham back in May. Has really struggled since and looks up against it here once again from a high draw.
Been running well without winning since going in at Beverley in July. Not beaten at all far by Van Gerwen back at that venue last time and would have sound claims of reversing that form if the draw had not been so unkind.
Only has one win to his name in 51 turf starts and much more prolific on the AW. Has been running well of late though without winning and it is impossible to discount him here.
Not been in the best of form and mark is steadily falling as a result. Well held by Van Gerwen at Beverley last time but has the plum draw here in stall 1 so will have good claims of going well.
Has won here over 6f three times now after recording a good success here last time. this trip doesn't suit quite as well but in good form and will be dangerous if the splits open up the hill.

Queens Gift (9/4), Van Gerwen (7/2), Harry Hurricane (6/1), Round The Island (15/2), Magic Pulse (8/1), Wrenthorpe (12/1), Bahamian Sunrise (12/1), Computable (16/1), Laubali (16/1), Suitcase 'n' Taxi (16/1), Desert Ace (20/1), Dapper Man (20/1), Show Palace (20/1), Top Boy (25/1), Feebs (40/1), Zapper Cass (66/1)
A wide-open sprint handicap in which the draw will play a major role. It is very hard to ignore the claims of VAN GERWEN who bounced back to form with a good win at Beverley last time and goes particularly well here and has bagged stall 3. Wrenthorpe is a three-year-old on the upgrade and is sure to end up better than this mark in time and is very much feared. The draw has not been kind to the bang in-form Round The Island but if they go quick up front, he may well be finishing best of all and is dangerous to dismiss.
- Van Gerwen
- Wrenthorpe
- Round The Island
