Won 2-4 last term and did very well to win at Windsor in July after nine months out. Ran no race on AW when favourite last time and may not have enjoyed the surface, but on previous effort has to enter calculations.
Fine old sprinter but has struggled for form this term and dropped 16lb in the weights. Hasn't shown his usual dash last four starts although has twice found trouble-in-running. Certainly well handicapped if he can find a bit of the old spark.
Likes top of the ground and landed Newmarket 5f handicap off 84 on penultimate start then lost all chance back there last time after rearing at start. Chance on form of HQ win if behaving in the stalls.
Two wins this term at his beloved Musselburgh including last time when staying on to lead close home. 4lb higher and runs at this track for the first time so interesting to see how he fares.
Wins at Hamilton, Musselburgh and Carlisle this term, including last time out at the latter when bolting in on easy ground. Up 7lb so any rain would certainly help the cause but is in good nick.
10 wins to his name including at HQ earlier this term. Still 3lb higher and ran fair race at Ascot last time. Well into the veteran stage but a bold display cannot be ruled out if he gets the breaks.
Won at Kempton (6f) in April and again at Windsor (5f) on penultimate start, staying on bravely to score by a short-head. Seemed not to act on very fast ground at Bath latest but on balance of form this term has to be among the main contenders.
Stayed on well to score at Chester three weeks ago but didn't back that up at same venue last time. In and out performer, but not without hope if on a going day. Af drop of rain might help the cause.
Raised 14lb after hacking up in Nottingham 6f handicap three starts ago but has done little since then. First-time tongue-tie applied but looks in the grip of the handicapper on recent evidence.
Useful juvenile a couple of seasons ago and won twice last term at sprint distances but not so good this campaign and dropped further 2lb now to career low mark. Chance if able to bounce back but that doesn't look too likely on recent evidence.
At his best when mud is flying and went close last time at Haydock off 2lb lower mark. Ground has to ease for him to show his best, but forecast suggests that's not out of the question.

A competitive sprint handicap with plenty holding claims, but PUDS is the choice having made good progress this term and is forgiven her run on lightning quick ground at Bath last time. Top weight Kick On Kick On could be a big danger back on turf while a bold show wouldn't surprise from either Leo Minor or Duke Of Firenze. If the rain arrives then both Camacho Chief and Major Pusey would be serious contenders.
