Made eyecatching late gains to finish third in a 6f novice at Windsor (good/firm) when making her debut earlier this month. Tongue tie worn that day is retained, and she's one to bear in mind.

Daughter of Mayson who was soundly beaten on racecourse bow at Lingfield last month. Likely to need more time if she's to amount to much.

By Paco Boy out of a modest winning half-sister to useful sprint handicapper Cheviot. Not a stellar pedigree by any means, but yard's juveniles always merit a second look.
Showcasing half-sister to useful 1m winner Slippers Best and 1m winner King's Slipper out of an unraced half-sister to smart 1m-1½m winner Dansili Dancer. Sales price rose to 240,000 gns last year, so needs respect starting out for powerful yard.

Cityscape filly out of a maiden half-sister to useful juvenile Cee Bargara. Has beaten just one rival in two starts to date, and makes no appeal here.
Related to plenty of winners at up to 7f (dam scored over 5f), but yard not known for success with debutants, and passed over unless the subject of support.

Deep Impact filly from a successful Australian family. Yard's juveniles usually come on for an outing, but can get the occasional winner first time, so market check recommended.

6/1
Mizzen Mast filly who cost €50,000 as a two-year-old. Weak in the market on 7f debut here earlier in the month, but shaped well in finishing 3L third of 5 to Dandhu. Normal improvement will make her a big player.

Looks a typical late developer for this shrewd yard, finishing well held while hinting at ability in three runs at 6f/7f. Longer trip will help, but she looks one for handicaps in time.

40/1
Half-sister to 1½m winner Icefall and 7f-1¼m winner Silver Casina. Unfancied and soundly beaten on recent racecourse bow at Goodwood, and will need plenty of time.

Horse silk
40/1
Le Havre half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Action Parfaite. Represents a powerful yard, but showed very little on recent debut at Haydock, so needs to step up markedly.

Forecasts

Alexa Rose (5/6), Intricate (9/4), Pytilia (6/1), Navadir (10/1), Bovaglie (16/1), Trelinney (40/1), Ventura Island (40/1), Miss Firecracker (50/1), London Pride (66/1), Ramatuelle (66/1), Apron Strings (100/1)

Verdict

Pytilia is one to keep in mind after running well despite being weak in the market on her introduction here recently, and improvement should be forthcoming, but marginal preference is for well-bred newcomer INTRICATE, whose yard does very well here. Alexa Rose did well to finish so close at Windsor having been poorly placed, and she is open to abnormal improvement.
