Requinto colt, dam a winner and sister to a winner over this trip. Overcame inexperience to win at Dundalk on debut in April and although beaten since has shown plenty of tenacity in defeat. Place claims.

Winner of one of his six starts getting of the mark last month at the fifth time of asking in a Curragh handicap over this trip off a 5lb lower mark. Likable type and should be in the mix.

Will have frustrated connections in four defeats since debut run at Dundalk on the AW in May, but the colt has shown plenty of determination in three races at the Curragh recently. Each way claims in this company.

Looked set to get off the mark latest when kicking clear at Cork over 7f but stamina emptied and he was collared late on before a mediocre display at the Curragh last month. Plenty more needed here.

Got off the mark for connections in a Naas 5½f contest on good ground earlier this month beating 12 rivals by a head on handicap debut off a 7lb lower mark. More improvement needed.

Home-bred who has been below-par in three career starts to date. Out of sorts recently and this looks a tough ask.

First-time visor could be the key to unlocking the winning run so richly deserved in a number of runs since joining the yard last month. Could be of interest.

Forecasts

Tenax (7/2), Vidiyni (7/2), Rita Levi (4/1), Lord Rapscallion (6/1), Offline (6/1), Dandy Belle (6/1), Eagle Song (10/1), Dancing Mountain (10/1), Recon Mission (12/1), Paisean (33/1)

Verdict

Winner on debut at the Curragh, RECON MISSION has been beaten since when highly tried in Listed company and the drop down here on handicap debut is sure to suit. The Kodiac colt may have a little too much for the likes of Tenax, solid in three runs since July and Rita Levi who has been running well in defeat since June. Winner on debut in April, Offline could go well at a price.
