Winner of 10 races including two here over 6f. Has finished second on last three C&D runs, all off lower marks than this.
Scored at Wolverhampton 18 months ago. Well beaten on all three runs since returning from a layoff and no signs his problems are behind him.
Lurking on a dangerous mark at present but one that fully reflects how far he has slipped in 2018. Cheekpieces, tried for the first time a month ago, removed this time.
Down to his last winning mark and appeared to be approaching his best on penultimate start. Trip may have been too short last time when having second run in 72 hours.
Had shown some promise in novice company prior to last month's handicap debut. Pulled hard and failed to stay 1m2f that day so improvement expected over this trip and wearing a hood.
Landed three races in 2017 including one here. Effective over 1m-1m2f but she has been below par since the turn of the year. Trainer has gone three months without a winner, but she must command respect if backed.
14-race maiden has looked a tricky ride and latest effort was a backward step. Headgear tried this time and weighted to go close if the aids have the desired effect.
Brighton specialist and also a winner here. His three handicap successes have come under this rider from marks of 49-51, so he should not be far away.
Has won here three times including off today's mark in March. Has since scored at Brighton but below par since and refused to enter the stalls on last intended start.
Cost £40,000 as a yearling, showing a reasonable level of juvenile form; disappointing since switched to handicapping (with and without headgear); poor on both runs for this yard and a 5lb drop may not be enough.
Has achieved nothing of note and last month's handicap debut did not provide any further encouragement. Poorly drawn.
17-race maiden who has posted some fair efforts around here. Drops in grade having been highly tried lately, but he has failed in class 7 company in the past so that is not the positive it could be.

Satchville Flyer (9/2), Formiga (6/1), African Blessing (6/1), Herm (13/2), Subjectivity (13/2), Hidden Stash (7/1), Melgate Melody (10/1), Luxford (12/1), Banta Bay (12/1), Malaysian Boleh (16/1), Tifl (16/1), Voice of A Leader (16/1), Median (25/1), Itsupforgrabsnow (25/1), Canimar (33/1), Pablow (50/1)
Luxford and Subjectivity are potentially well-handicapped runners for whom market moves would would have to be deemed significant. Hidden Stash and Tifl have dropped to attractive marks, but preference is for MELGATE MELODY. Mick Easterby's charge has been difficult to train since his sole success but he caught the eye on his comeback. That run should have him spot on and his highly rated rider partnered a winner for the yard 11 days ago.
