Has won twice over similar trips already this season on good/fast ground, the latter when 4lb lower. Beaten just 1L from 1lb higher in a better race at Carlisle last time. Should be thereabouts.
Arrives seeking a hat-trick after wins over C&D (good to soft) and more recently at Pontefract (1m, good to firm). More needed after a 6lb rise for the latter, and takes on older horses for the first time, but no denying he has claims.
Won at Ripon (1m, good) in June, when 4lb lower. Has almost matched that level in three of his four subsequent starts. Needs more to win from this mark, but has clear each-way claims if he can conjur up a similar effort.
Both his wins have been at Beverley, the more recent coming two starts ago over 1m½f (good to soft), when 9lb lower. Went close to a follow up back there over slightly shorter last time. Nudged up another 3lb but should be competitive.
Won here over 6f last year. Has scored at both York (1m1f, good to firm) and more recently Ripon (1m, good) this season. 5lb higher than the latter today, and well held from this mark in a better race last time. More needed.
Scored over C&D (good to firm) last year, when 9lb higher, but without a win this season. Looks well treated on several pieces of form from earlier in the campaign, but has had a few chances.
In tremendous form and seeking a four-timer after just getting the better of Poet's Dawn at Beverley last time. 1lb worse off with that reopposing rival now 4lb higher, but has run well over C&D and makes the short-list.
Goes well on fast ground at up to 1m2f and scored over that trip at Wetherby in June, when 2lb lower. Unable to get competitive since then. More needed.
Both his wins have been at Epsom, including last time out over 1m½f (soft), for which he has gone up 2lb. Arguably still not fully exposed, despite some defeats from lower marks, and acts on good to firm. Claims.
Looks well treated on a couple of pieces of form from his time with Charlie Appleby, but way below that in both runs for this stable. Not written off, but clearly needs to bounce right back.
