Has shown plenty of promise in a couple of handicap starts since June including when finishing 5L adrift of Thiswaycadeaux at Roscommon earlier this month. Liable to find one or two quicker.

Sole win came when trained in France as a two-year-old over three years ago. Well down the field in a series of disappointing displays since March and others preferred.

Has show glimpses of returning to the form of 12-months ago with a couple of encouraging spins at Limerick and Cork when last seen in May. Could be capable of having his say in this company.

Something claearly wrong on his most recent run at Killarney in June - possible good ground - but the three-year-old is better than that run suggests.

Verdict

Stable stalwart TONY THE GENT won over C&D at the 2016 festival off a 2lb higher mark and there is no reason why the well-drawn five-year-old cannot pick up the winning thread once again here. Dream Walker has been running his usual gallant races in defeat since May but is always susceptible to one or two in these type of contests. Potential improver Onlyhuman is more than capable of worrying the main protagonists here while J J Feane's No Education can go well at a price.
  1. Tony The Gent
  2. Dream Walker
  3. No Education
