Improved from debut to win his next two starts and while well beaten in Listed class at Newbury last time, it would be no surprise to see him bounce back on handicap debut here.
Hasn't needed to improve to win his last couple of starts but no doubt he will need more back in handicap company against these rivals. Any cut in the ground will be in his favour.
Still a maiden but he's been running well in defeat on each of his four starts and the assessor has given him a chance on handicap debut here. Booking of Atzeni a positive to his chance and yard have won two of the last six renewals of this contest.
Justified favouritism at Brighton on just his second start but he's failed to build on that in two starts since and he's the second string on jockey bookings.
Improved from debut to finish runner-up at Haydock next time. Shaped like he would appreciate this step up in trip when winning his maiden at Sandown and can't be ruled out on handicap debut here with more progress likely.
Still a maiden after five starts but has posted two better efforts on his last couple of starts. Handicapper has only nudged him up 1lb so can't be ruled out here.
Improved from debut to win on heavy ground at Salisbury next time but he's been inconsistent since. Step up in trip might suit and any softening of conditions in his favour but others have more attractive profiles.
Forecasts
Rajinsky (11/4), Leroy Leroy (4/1), Indian Viceroy (4/1), The Trader (9/2), Big Baby Bull (8/1), Nathless (9/1), Hieronymus (14/1), Steeve (28/1)
Richard Hannon has a good record in this race and despite the fact his runner LEROY LEROY is still a maiden, he seems on a fair mark for handicap debut. It would be no surprise to see the Mark Johnston runner The Trader bounce straight back after his disappointment when upped in class last time while Rajinsky should appreciate the step up in trip here.
