Distance winner of a Gowran Park handicap 12-months ago. Still in reasonable form with three promising runs on the board since July but looks opposable in this grade.

Mastercraftsman filly cost €75,000 yearling and has some smart pedigree. Has landed the odds on both career starts to date when last seen in the spring. Enters calculations for yard that had the runner-up in this race three years ago.

Will have disappointing influential connections not getting her head in front since winning a Curragh handicap in May. Solid run in the Group 3 Snow Fairy last time puts her in the mix here.

Running consistently well this year, with both wins coming at Gowran Park, most recently over this trip in a 14k handicap. One to watch in the betting with yard providing two of the last three winners of the race.

Verdict

The Aiden O'Brien trained HENCE can build on her 1½L defeat in the Group 3 Snow Fairy stakes at the Curragh recently to land the spoils here seeing off the attentions of the progressive and last time out winners Dabiyr and Hand On Heart. The trainers of the last three winners Willie McCreery and Willie Mullins are represented by Gustavus Vassa and Mazzuri who could surprise at big prices.
