Won a lads race (6f, good), under today's rider, at Windsor last month and handy she also has a C&D win to her name. Previously been struggling in low-grade handicaps, so does need to prove it wasn't a one-off performance. More on from 3lb higher.
Has snippets of form that give her a chance but the filly lacks experience of this course and needs to atone for a poor effort last time out. Has gone well on the Polytrack at Chelmsford, though. Worth noting in the betting.
Has the ability to win one of these low-grade handicaps and has a very feasible chance even though she races from her career lowest mark. Drop back to 6f in her favour and can go close if coping with the surface on her first visit to Lingfield.
Consistent filly that has thrived since joining her current yard before the start of this season. Responded well in the first-time headgear last time out and can again go close if the application has the same effect this time.
Goes well here but is on a long losing run and has become expensive to follow. Well handicapped but not ideally drawn and a lot has to be taken on trust as the gelding bids to stop the rot from his lowest mark to date.
Still a maiden after 10 starts but posted his best effort to date when second at Yarmouth last month. Seems to have settled into his new yard and has improved for the fitting of cheekpieces. Well drawn and can go well.
Unexposed after just three starts in handicaps and has to be considered as capable at this level after posting a couple of fair efforts in defeat in his last two starts. Drop back to 6f should suit - another to consider.
A surprise winner on good to firm ground (6f) at Nottingham in June but not been able to repeat the dose in four subsequent outings. Can make the running but form on Polytrack is questionable. Others more convincing.
Not won since May 2015 and not stood too much racing since. Not finished in front of a single rival in any of his last four starts and readily opposable on that statistic alone.
Mixed form this season but comes here on the back of his best effort to date when second over 6f at Chelmsford last month. Place claims if able to reproduce the effort but risks attached.
Front-runner who has gone well here before now but last two starts have been poor performances. May be difficult for her to gain dominance from her stalls potion and likely she'll have to settle for a minor role again.

A modest finale but still competitive for such a low-key event. The shortlist includes: Monarch Maid, Papa Delta, and Slipalongtrevaskis, who are all capable at this level and are worth noting in the betting. However, NIKITA is on a very attractive mark and, with the drop in trip expected to suit, Hughie Morrison's filly has a lot going for her and just edges the nomination as the best option on this occasion.
