Never a factor when something clearly amiss at the Galway festival on the geldings latest run following a promising third of nine beaten 1¼L at Leopardstown in July. Worth a market check.
Winner over this trip in a Leopardstown handicap over 12-months ago off an 8lb higher mark. Well held since running over a variety of trips. Hard to fancy on latest evidence.
Three wins this calendar year with a victory in a Navan 1m2f handicap in July the sole win on turf. Place claims.
Had twice hit the crossbar before scoring at Roscommon last month. Has the form to make a bold bid despite a 6lb higher mark.
Winner of three of his 32 Flat starts on turf including a couple of victory's over the trip over three years ago. Well below last winning mark here and may find one or two more handily handicapped.
Better form has come on good to firm ground over the summer and is attempting to get off the mark for connections at the seventh time of asking. May have to settle for a minor role.
Will have disappointed connections having not got her head in front in eight career starts to date but yard are back among the winners and boasts strong claims here.
In fine form this year and has won three of his last five starts, all over this trip. not seen since heavy defeat in June and may need the run on return to action.
Distance winner of a Curragh handicap in June off a 4lb lower mark. Consistent enough to be considered here.
Teofilo colt, dam out of a half-sister to a US Grade 3 winner. Largely well down the field in three career starts to date and others look to be progressing at a quicker rate.
Maiden on the Flat in 12 turf starts for connections. Not beaten far over a variety of trips since June but holds place claims at best.
Forecasts
Dalton Highway (4/1), Queen Iseult (9/2), Nimitz (5/1), Try Again (13/2), Remembered Joy (8/1), Theotonius (10/1), Bit Of Banter (11/1), Schoolboy Error (12/1), Remmy D (12/1), Mandamus (16/1), Shadagann (25/1)
The Dubai Destination gelding TRY AGAIN twice hit the crossbar before scoring at Roscommon last month winning a 1m2½f handicap on soft ground off a 6lb lower mark but can continue his solid looking form here going up in trip. The Aiden O'Brien filly Queen Iseult is deserving of consideration with the yard back among the winners while distance winner Remmy D can go well at a price.
