Horse A-Z
Full-sister to 1¼m-1½m winner Champagne Rules from an excellent family. Good effort in finishing a nose second over this trip at Epsom (good) on debut last month. Repeat of that should see her play a leading role.

Camelot Rakti47
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Tom Marquand| T: J Tate
25/1
Camelot half-sister to listed winner Tupi. Showed a bit on debut at Doncaster in June, but below that form there following month, and probably one for the longer term.
3
(10)
Horse silk
66/1
Olympic Glory half-sister to useful winners Mambomiss ( 1¼m-1½m) and Kajima (7f/1m). Both yard's juvenile winners in 2018, including 125/1 winner here, had previous experience.

(15)
Horse silk
8/1
No Nay Never filly whose sales price increased to €135,000 this year. Half-sister to smart 1m-1m3f winner Raymond Tusk and US Grade 2 winner Striking Dancer. Respected, especially with top rider booked.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Harry Bentley| T: R M Beckett
14/1
Closely related to a pair of useful performers out of a half-sister to Oaks winner Look Here. Hinted at ability when down the field on debut at Newmarket recently, but likely to need more time.

Horse silk
Mot Juste11
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Andrea Atzeni| T: R Varian
7/1
Distorted Humor half-sister to two winners out of Group 2 Prix de Malleret winner Time On. Kept on late when sixth of 13 on recent debut over 7f at Newmarket. Sure to improve, and considered.

Horse silk
Mums Hope
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: R Havlin| T: H Morrison
33/1
Lethal Force half-sister to 7f-1¼m winner Autumn Leaves and 5f winner Evora Monte. Not the most expensive, and yard's juveniles invariably improve for an outing.

(5)
Horse silk
Octavia Minor39
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: P J Dobbs| T: R Hannon
33/1
Related to winners in the US from family of multiple G1 winner Cape Blanco. Needed experience when seventh of 9 at Ascot in July behind Ceratonia, and ought to do better, for all that wasn't a great race for the track.

Horse silk
Pempie
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Oisin Murphy| T: A M Balding
9/1
Full-sister to 1½m winner Sky Eagle and half-sister to useful 1m-1m3f winner Papagena Star. Likely to need further in time, but yard in fine form, and merits a market check.
10
(9)
Horse silk
16/1
War Command half-sister useful 7f-1¼m winner Maverik and 1¾m winner Pleasure Dome. Bred to be useful, but yard yet to hit target with two-year-olds this year.
11
(3)
Horse silk
4/1
Full-sister to Watheer, a 7f 2-y-o winner for this yard in 2017, and she shaped quite well when seventh of 11 in a C&D maiden last month. Likely to do much better in time.
12
(6)
Horse silk
Sunday Star54
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: G Mosse| T: E Walker
14/1
Kodiac filly who didn't show much when down the field on debut at Newmarket in July, but harsh to judge her on that run alone, and should be better for the experience.
13
(4)
Horse silk
Toybox29
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Edward Greatrex| T: J G Portman
40/1
Better effort to date when 6¼L fourth of 14 to Lively Lydia in 6f maiden at Windsor last time. Should do better, but will have more suitable opportunities when handicapping over further.
14
(12)
Horse silk
100/1
Half-sister to 1½m winner Icefall and 7f-1¼m winner Silver Casina. Yard appears to have more obvious claims with Summer Skies based on riding arrangements.
15
(8)
Horse silk
Wish
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: David Egan| T: S bin Suroor
8/1
Teofilo half-sister to useful 1m winners Hornsby and Emirates Airline. Yard 7-27 with juveniles this year, and she is likely to be ready for this debut, so merits respect.

Forecasts

Bella Vita (5/2), Summer Skies (4/1), Mot Juste (7/1), El Gumryah (8/1), Wish (8/1), Pempie (9/1), Glance (14/1), Sunday Star (14/1), Sh Boom (16/1), Camelot Rakti (25/1), Octavia Minor (33/1), Mums Hope (33/1), Toybox (40/1), Confils (66/1), Trelinney (100/1)

Verdict

Both MOT JUSTE and Bella Vita made promising debuts and should go close with the benefit of experience, and preference is for the former, who was unfancied when running well in a strong Newmarket event recently. El Gumryah has a potentially difficult draw to overcome on her racecourse bow, but has a very appealing pedigree, and needs consideration.
  1. Mot Juste
  2. Bella Vita
  3. El Gumryah
