Modest form figures up to now and off-putting that the filly appeared to drop out tamely when tried over C&D before. The first-time cheekpieces need to initiate a big amount of improvement.
Showed promise on debut at Chelmsford but has faded tamely twice (both at this course) since. Handed a lowly rating for his handicap debut, and given that his rider pitches in with a 3lb claim, the dirt-bred colt could be a surprise package here.
Generally consistent so far but still a maiden after nine starts (0-3 on the AW). However, there a lot to like about her latest start at Southwell and she have more to offer from what is starting to look like a lenient mark. Shortlisted.
Placed twice here recently and very possible this could turn out to be his favoured track. The drop back to 6f is a slight concern, so a betting check would probably be a good policy to take out.
Lightly raced but shown nothing to merit serious consideration so far. Opposable on this belated first start of the season.
Shown very little promise in maidens and handicaps so far and difficult to envisage him being good enough to cause a shock result given the modest standards he's set for himself so far.
Has had problems with his wind but still managed to post a couple of encouraging efforts. The latest of which came in a strongly run race at Newcastle. The drop back in trip may suit this afternoon, so worth a betting check at least.
Yet to start a race at odds lower than 33/1 and with good cause given the moderate level of achievements gained so far. Never a factor on her sole previous visit here and probably safe to leave her out of the betting plans this time.
Posted two highly encouraging efforts on the bounce recently but lacks experience of this course and possible she may not be ideally suited by stepping down in trip. Yard also struggling for winners just now.
Failed to attract the interest of the betting market when she's raced previously to this and plenty to prove on her handicap debut. First start since undergoing a wind operation but too much guesswork involved to give her a recommendation.

Forecasts
Liamba (15/8), Strategic (7/2), Domestic Way (9/2), Beau Rocko (5/1), Broughton Excels (7/1), Viking Way (8/1), Queen Of Dreams (10/1), Spenny's Lass (12/1), Another Situation (12/1), Mostly Green (14/1), Tommy Boy (20/1), Mystical Moon (22/1), Isabella Ruby (50/1)
A modest finale that could go to LIAMBA, who is in the minority of performers that comes into this on the back of a solid effort. The Equiano filly has a couple of near misses to her name and will rarely be presented with a better opportunity to stamp her authority. Domestic Way has scope to improve now he goes handicapping, so is worth a betting check, while Strategic has been placed here before but needs to prove the drop in trip won't be an issue. Viking Way and Irish raider Beau Rocko are a couple of others worth considering if the betting market gets behind them.
- Liamba
- Domestic Way
- Strategic
