Has won on good ground or softer at 5f-6f. Ran well here when beaten a neck over C&D (good to soft) in July from 1lb lower. Not far off that at Thirsk last time. Each-way claims.
His wins have both come over this trip on good/fast ground. Remains 4lb higher than the more recent of those, at Chester in June. Held in four runs since, but 7lb now claimed and drops in grade, so could do better.
Goes well here, with two C&D wins to his name this season, the more recent from just 1lb lower. Has not been back at that level since, but this drop in grade will help and he won't mind what the ground is. Claims.
His 13 career wins have included six over C&D and a sound or fast surface suits. 9lb higher that his latest win here in July. Produced his best performance for some time when a head second back here latest. Up 2lb. Each-way claims.
Better on AW, but has three turf wins, including one over C&D (good to firm) in 2016. Was ½L second to Desert Ace here from this mark in July. Tough draw, but each-way claims.
Won a Bath novice event (5f, good to firm) last year for Roger Varian. Well held all four starts for this trainer. Drops another 4lb here and from a 0-95 to this level, with 5lb also claimed. Interesting. Market check advised.
Goes well here, having won a C&D novice contest last year and gone well in two other runs, including when 1L fourth last time from this mark. Still early days, and less exposed than many here. Bit more needed but each-way claims.
Has already won three times this season over 6f and on a variety of ground. Remains 5lb higher than the last of those and recent efforts suggest that he might find a few too good.
Not beaten far from 1lb higher here two starts ago and ran well from this mark in reapplied cheekpieces at Catterick on Wednesday. Each-way possibilities.
1-40 and on a 38-race losing run. Has run numerous respectable races in defeat in the interim, including here last time, when a 1½L third from this mark. Again makes some each-way appeal, but clearly hard to fancy for win purposes.
Earned back-to-back wins at Leicester and Wolverhampton over this trip in June. 4lb higher than the latter here. Has been competitive on both starts since. Yet another who makes some each-way appeal, but more needed for the win.
Another in the line-up with good C&D form (last two wins have been here). Well treated on last year's form, but has been unable to reach that level this year. Tough ask on recent evidence, despite good draw.
Won a 5f Newcastle maiden (AW) last year, but after improving on his next start, he has been unable to get back to that level of form since. Well treated based on his form of early last season, but clearly has plenty to prove now.
Most recent success came in an amateurs' contest at Ayr (5f, good to firm) in July, when 2lb lower. Has not been beaten far in any of four starts since. Draw has not been kind, but another with each-way claims.
3-16, with all three wins being over C&D and the last two under this pilot. Up 3lb for that latest effort, while previous success had been from stall 7, so reasons to believe that she can again run a very big race.
Both wins have been at Yarmouth (5f/6f) on fast ground. Handicapper has had her measure this season. Getting back to a competitive mark now, but it will be tough from this draw.

A nigh-on impossible task for punters, with so much course and distance form on offer, and so many exposed runners among a big field. The narrow vote goes to OUR LITTLE PONY, who clearly loves it here herself, gets on well with Faye McManoman, and may be able to handle a 3lb rise. Drawn next door, Gold Stone is one of the least exposed runners here and could emerge as a big threat. Dahik is interesting, having taken a sizeable drop in class for this, Bondi Beach Boy is entitled to plenty of respect from stall 1, while Desert Ace has stronger claims than a number of others on form, but his draw is a negative.
