Already with his 4th trainer he looked to need the run when last seen (initial run for this stable) in May. Now back from another break having had some wind surgery and best watched for now.
Two outings so far and he's been well held on both starts in a bumper and over hurdles; looks more one for the longer terms given what he's shown so far.
Confirmed his bumper promise on his 2nd start in that sphere but did look rather green still if not a little wayward despite winning. Threw away chance to follow up that win at Uttoxeter showing a full range of quirks; now makes his hurdles debut.
Not overly fancied on his sole run so far in a Warwick bumper when with Alan King despite having an appealing pedigree. Made an encouraging start to his career and looks likely to improve as he makes his hurdles/stable debut.
Failed to show much promise on his debut in an Irish bumper but did win a point-to-point in the same country before showing an aptitude for hurdles on his debut for this yard over C&D. Should show more especially when given a stiffer test.
Failed to show much on the Flat (still a maiden) but has shown a little more promise in two hurdles outings over the summer. Needs this run for a mark and will be more interesting in handicaps once he has a mark.
Stayer on the Flat who failed to win a race in that sphere but did produce some useful enough form. His hurdles debut over C&D showed enough to think that he can win a race in this sphere and merits respect on his 2nd hurdles start.
Has one standout effort to his name when 2nd in a Nottingham turf maiden over 1m2f (June 2017). Ran no sort of race next time (reported to have a breathing problem) and now makes his hurdles/stable debut with something to prove.
Forecasts
Full Bore (7/4), Val Mome (5/2), Lester Kris (11/4), A Bold Move (10/1), Realms Of Fire (14/1), Stormy Blues (33/1), Go On Mayson (50/1), Bignorm (100/1)
It’s obvious that Full Bore has plenty of ability but it also looks as though he has some quirks to go with that ability and it remains to be seen how he takes to hurdles after his Uttoxeter antics when last seen. It may be safer to side with LESTER KRIS who made a very respectable C&D debut over hurdles recently in what looked a decent contest. Realms Of Fire making his hurdles/stable debut for the Dan Skelton yard looks of interest with Val Mome another who could yet progress in this sphere.
- Lester Kris
- Full Bore
- Val Mome
