Beaten favourite on return when travelling strongly before failing to quicken and has looked in need of this return to a mile. Tough ask last time in the Victoria Cup and remains open to improvement at this level.
Improved this campaign with two front-running successes before a change of tactics over further last time. That didn't suit but still ran up to his best and remains open to further progress with more forceful riding back at this trip.
Progressive last term winning final two starts but ran in snatches on return and reportedly had a breathing problem when virtually pulled up at Windsor. Drop in trip shouldn't be a problem but questions to answer at present.
Made it three from six on the AW when winning on his first try over this C&D. Impressive how he quickened from the back off a slow pace and remains open to plenty of improvement on this type of surface. Looks a leading contender.
Very consistent performer on the AW and bounced back from a disappointing turf run when third to Mudallel over this C&D. Repeatedly denied a run there and has to have a major chance of reversing the form.
On a competitive mark judged on his previous form for Richard Fahey but not fancied in the market and well beaten on stable debut at Wolverhampton. Remains best watched at present.
Former Clive Cox runner who has had two poor runs either side of a decent fourth behind Mudallel over this C&D. Chance off this mark if reproducing that run but is inconsistent and others preferred.
Had looked as though he could progress after winning his first two of three starts but has now twice disappointed since stepping up to this trip in handicaps. Gets a welcome drop in class and makes AW debut for leading connections.
Won her maiden over this C&D and generally consistent before disappointing back on turf. Clearly prefers an AW surface and while others look better handicapped on this return from a break, her apprentice did ride a recent winner for this stable.

Mudallel (2/1), Qaroun (3/1), Makaarim (11/2), Majboor (6/1), Shadow Warrior (7/1), Jus Pires (8/1), Samphire Coast (14/1), Kodiline (20/1), Executive Force (20/1), Wicker (33/1), Inaam (50/1)
Mudallel was an eye-catching winner over this C&D and remains one to keep on the right side of but he will face a stiff challenge from SHADOW WARRIOR who was luckless behind him in defeat and likewise has shown a consistent level of form on the AW. Wicker holds place possibilities again if ready after a lengthy break while Makaarim faces more realistic opposition and the stiffer test should be in his favour. An expensive purchase, Qaroun isn't one to give up on just yet, however his last two runs and breeding suggest a drop back in distance may suit further down the line.
