€220,000 two-year-old purchase is a son of Slade Power and half-brother to four smart winners at 1m plus. May need further in time and despite his attractive pedigree this charge of the light brigade not ideal for newcomers.
Only beaten 2¾L into third on debut here over 5f earlier this month. Looked like he would not only handle but benefit from today's step up in trip so has to be respected but draw makes the start critical.
Made a pleasing debut when second at Naas staying on over 7f before finishing third last time out over the same distance at Leopardstown. Showed enough pace to think he can handle drop back to 6f and any further improvement would give him a chance.
Twice raced colt was doing all of his best work late on over 7f latest when fifth at Galway. Drop back in trip here far from ideal and one wonders whether he is being saved for handicaps.
Little to recommend him on two races to date beating just one home on debut before finishing last at Wolverhampton latest under ultra-aggressive tactics.
Four races and four lasts so far at trips from 5f to 1m which he ran over latest. Drop back in trip looks a desperate move and surely needs to go handicapping soon.
War Front colt is one of three for the yard here. Got worked up in the stalls on debut at Leopardstown where he finished sixth of 11. Penny seemed to drop late on there so better expected, market will guide with stable's trio.
775,000gns son of Scat Daddy out of a maiden from a smart and speedy US family. Trainer runs three here (two newcomers) so market will be informative but there is more than enough in his pedigree to merit respect.
A son of outstanding two-year-old sire Kodiac out of an unraced dam from a smart family of winners at around 1m. Should have pace for this trip but trainer's two-year-olds rarely grace the winner's enclosure first time out.
Son of Zoffany was too keen on debut over 7f at Roscommon and paid the price eventually beating one home. Should settle better here with likely fast pace but leap of faith required.
Made a really pleasing debut here last month when third behind two experienced previous winners over C&D and noted doing his best work late on. Can improve further and looks a leading contender here.
Son of Camelot finished eighth on debut at Cork over 1m. Not bred to appreciate the step back in trip and little evidence of sprint speed in his race either. Trainer also runs Colfer Me.
Newcomer by Zoffany cost €60,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to a 10f AW winner. Likely need further and this big field will make it tough for debutants.
As the name suggests he is a son of Coach House and he ran well enough first time out over 7f here finishing midfield behind Cruciatus. Should be good enough to win races but will need a big step up.
200,000gns yearling by No Nay Never is a half-brother to a 1m winner in Spain. One of three runners for his all-conquering stable so market should give some indication as to expectations.
€75,000 yearling by Alhebayeb out of an unraced half-sister to two Group Three winners at 1m. May need further and trainer's runner tend to come on for their debut. Yard run three here.
€15.000 yearling by Epaulette is a half-brother to five winners from an Italian dam whose progeny have been pretty precocious. Bred for this sort of trip so worth watching the market although this a fearsome place to start.
Newcomer by Lilbourne Lad is a half-sister to a 1m winner out a maiden dam. Trainer very rare winner with two-year-olds so this looks likely to be a tall order.
Newcomer by Bungle Inthejungle cost just €5,000. Half-sister to five winners, four of them in Italy. Leading jumps trainer had one two-year-old winner this season but on the balance she is probably best watched for now.
Little encouragement in two starts so far over 5f here and 7f at Leopardstown although she showed signs of some ability latest. Looks stable second string on jockey booking and form.
Not seen since the Spring but lots to like about her debut when only beaten a short-head by a subsequent Group Three winner. Hung right subsequently at Naas so possibly something amiss. Fitness question mark but leading player if ready.
Finished midfield in two quickfire 7f maidens at Galway with the latter suggesting she might benefit for this drop in trip. Big step up needed if she is to get involved.
Requinto filly was beaten 7¾ when fourth of five on debut at Wolverhampton (AW) earlier this month. Flashed speed early there but finished tamely. Huge improvement required.
Finished second in three maidens (two at Navan, one at Naas) so far and threatened in all. No match for an O'Brien winner last time out over 5f but left the impression a return to 6f would suit. Rock-solid form and most experience which must help.
Well beaten in both races so far here and latest at Leopardstown where she faded into 14th of 15. No evidence to recommend her.

LIFE MISSION was set a stiff task on debut but acquitted himself admirably when staying on into a never nearer third behind two previous winners. That form looks rock solid here and he gets the nod to win this charge of the light brigade. The experience of Rita Levi is sure to prove invaluable in such a field and this filly representing the prolific Keane-Lyons combination has run well in all three starts. The form of Mater Matuta's debut effort shows this filly has considerable ability but the only knock on her is the lack of a recent run.
