Viessmann Novice Stakes

Three sound efforts in novice company so far. Despite looking like it would suit, struggled over 1m2f last time. Interesting back over a mile now and sets the standard.

Improved on his debut when beaten less than 4L at Nottingham on second start. Not so good over 1m2f there last time and now drops back in trip. Bit to find now.

Fastnet Rock colt, cost 150,000 gns as a yearling. Two good effort so far in similar contests. that's right up there in what we have seen so far and should be bang in the mix once again.

Big prices and well beaten in two starts so far. Best of those efforts was here on debut and needs to do plenty more to trouble a few of these.

Bated Breath filly who is a half-sister to The Great Gabriel, Scallop, Economy and Yet Again who are all winners at a fair level. Dam was a winner over 1m2f and 1m4f including the Yorkshire Oaks and was second in the St Leger over 1m6f.

Champs Elysees filly. Sister to useful winner up to 1m4f Field of Fame and related to multiple winner. Sent off at 33/1 on debut at Kempton and was outpaced and ran green. Should improve but needs too.
