C&D winner but an unreliable type overall having to descend to selling level to win here in July (given a fairly easy opening). Failed to back that run up on his first start for his new yard over C&D; reverted to old ways (far from an easy ride).
Always at home around here (five-time course winner) he made the most of an uncomplicated opening last time out when winning a Redcar seller (1m2f). Capable over this trip also (four-time C&D winner) he's been found another good opening here.
Has a difficult task at the weights although he bounced back to something approaching his best last time when 3rd in an AW handicap. Forced the pace there and did well to stay on as well as he did; visor now back on.
Found the 5f he was tried over last time on his first run for this yard an inadequate test having previously won over this trip. A winner over 7f (Catterick claimer) in July he'll be much more at home over this trip than before.
Still a maiden he can be given a chance on some of his form. More than likely to feel more at home over this shorter trip than he tried last time and quite well weighted versus the majority of the field; place chance.
Often spoils is chance by overdoing things whilst making the pace and needs to settle better in order to see his races out. Ran one of his lesser races last time at Ayr making little impression and more needed here.
Form in handicaps of late is poor (even in selling company) and she faces a stiff task at the weights here. Hard to see her troubling the principals here based on her current form and best watched for now.
