Has kicked to a new level winning his last two starts and is a typically progressive type for this leading stable. Has now shown he handles turf and also won readily on step up to this trip. Can overcome a further 4lb rise.

Hold up performer but despite the small field there should be no shortage of pace. Got going too late when denied a hat-trick behind International Man but a chance off these revised terms.

International Man15

Suited by a slow early tempo when winning at York and now raised 3lb. However did suggest that this extra distance may bring more improvement and a player in a tight race.

Likes to lead and coming off the back of a tough ask at York. Previously in good form and although a touch high in the weights does possess a likeable attitude.

Poet's Dawn10
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-2| J: D Fentiman| T: T D Easterby| OR:  76| BF
14/1
Second to International Man, when also suited by racing on the pace, before another solid runner-up at Redcar. In good form and should go well again but yet to add to one success in novice company.

Forecasts

Faadhel (11/10), Humbolt Current (7/2), International Man (7/2), Tight Lines (8/1), Poet's Dawn (14/1)

Verdict

A small field but one likely to be run at a true tempo and that could see Humbolt Current reversing form from York with International Man and Poet's Dawn in what is a key piece of form. Tight Lines should ensure a strong gallop in a race where all hold realistic chances but preference is for FAADHEL who has improved nicely winning his last two and did so in the manner that suggests he's still a touch ahead of the handicapper.
  1. Faadhel
  2. Humbolt Current
  3. Tight Lines
