Invincible Spirit filliy out of winning French dam. Made a promising start whe third on debut at Wolverhampton recently, leading until tiring inside the distance over 6f. Drops back to the minimum trip and might take a bit of catching.
Finished last on each of her first three starts then did better after two-month break when third of six at Yarmouth last time. Only modest form, but might be gong the right way. Wears first-time cheekpieces here.
Showed a bit of speed before tiring over 7f on debut, then faded a furlong out over 6f last time. Further drop back is logical but doesn't look any great shakes on evidence so far.
Slow to jump away on debut a few weeks ago bt not disgraced when fourth of five at Leicester and that experience should have done this daughter of Swiss Spirit some good. Has place claims.
Stimulation filly who has only beaten one horse home in three races so far and looks of little account on what we've seen so far. May do better in time but cannot be fancied on this occasion.
Forecasts
Aaliya (4/9), Dream For Life (5/1), Aegean Beauty (8/1), Resolution (11/1), Petite Fleur (14/1), Ticktocks (25/1), Bertie's Rex (33/1)
It's always dangerous to tempt fate, but in a race where most of the runners have shown little form to speak of, the good third on debut of AALIYA stands out like a beacon. If she runs to a similar level she should prove too good for this lot. Resolution, Petite Fleur and Dream For Life all have place claims, while it might be worth noting any market interest in the newcomer Aegean Beauty.
