Made all at Ffos Las to gain a 17th career success and holds Jaganory on that effort despite a 6lb penalty. Has won here three times and hard to fault in his current mood.

Consistent mare who has gone close on her three previous starts here in this grade. Has little in hand of the handicapper at present.

Showed plenty of pace here last week until faltering close home. Down another 3lb in first-time blinkers in a weaker race so could surprise a few.

Back to winning ways in an equally poor C&D race two weeks ago. Swendab turned the tables last week and the draw is kinder to that rival here.

Has been in good form this year but 2lb higher than when down the field last time. Looks held by Jaganory and Broadhaven Honey on recent form.

Bath winner in first-time cheekpieces who was unlucky not to follow up when her saddle slipped. Less exposed than her rivals and has to go on the shortlist.

Sole victory came in April 2016. Last of three on most recent start and looks up against it on current form.

Amberine (9/4), Broadhaven Honey (11/4), Jaganory (10/3), Swendab (9/2), Molly Jones (16/1), The Big Short (16/1), Aragon Knight (20/1)

Verdict

Swendab is usually worth following when he is in his current mood but the concession of 14lb to Malcolm Saunders' progressive filly AMBERINE may be asking too much. The selection landed a gamble at Bath and would have gone very close to following up next time had her saddle not slipped. The Big Short could go close at decent odds down in this grade, whilst Broadhaven Honey and Jaganory are usually in the mix but will not be helped by being drawn wide.
