Victorious in a 1m Haydock (good-to-firm) maiden in June. Well held on handicap debut last time but a potentially useful recruit to hurdling.

Signs of ability on first two starts over hurdles but pulled up here last time out and others hold stronger claims.

Won and placed on the Flat but struggled off a mark of 55 last time out. Interesting to see how he fares on hurdling debut.

Promising hurdles debut when beaten 4L into second at Stratford (good) last month. Likely capable of better and one for the shortlist with cheekpieces applied for the first time.
Struggled in four outings on the Flat most recently on handicap debut at Beverley (1m4f, good-to-soft) earlier this week. Others make more appeal on hurdling debut.

Forecasts

Breakfast (5/4), Parmenter (9/4), Bodes Well (11/4), Zarrar (22/1), Jaycols Star (33/1), Denis (66/1), Top Rock Talula (100/1)

Verdict

With improvement on the cards PARMENTER can break her maiden at the second time of asking in the opening juvenile hurdle. The selection hails from a yard who do well in these contests and she can see off her rivals here. Second place can go the way of Breakfast who has run well on the Flat in the past and represents a top yard while Haydock Flat winner Bodes Well can take third on his first start over hurdles.
  1. Parmenter
  2. Breakfast
  3. Bodes Well
