Over a year since she last tasted success. 9lb below her last winning mark now but that was the case last time out too where she was seventh of 15 over C&D.
C&D winner here at the start of the week runs under a 6lb penalty but apprentice rider offsets that. Won with plenty in hand by 3½L so providing she handles the quick turnaround looks sure to take plenty of beating.
One win came as a two-year-old for George Margarson before he lost his way seemingly. Only managed seventh of nine on stable debut last month so big improvement needed to feature.
Never won with cut in the ground and was some 10½L behind Truffles here at the start of the week when eighth of 15. In need of help from the handicapper at present.
Maiden of 11 races but generally consistent since switched to this yard and gets 1lb back today. That ought to give him an each-way squeak and a first time visor is an interesting addition.
Saddle slipped latest when he unseated rider but prior to that had finished second in back to back races in big field handicaps. Handles soft ground well and handicap mark clearly workable so looks a realistic contender.
Soft ground maiden winner on debut at Limerick before enduring a really rough passage in a warm Curragh three-year-old handicap. Open to plenty of improvement so if 100% after a short break he looks sure to go well.
Model of consistency who followed up his recent win at Dundalk with a decent fourth to Truffles here earlier this week. 7L to find with that rival here so placed effort probably best he can hope for.
8lb lower than last winning mark for William Muir as he makes his debut for a new yard. Unproven on this surface and tough task for his inexperienced rider in this big field on this nuanced track.
Ran well in all three starts this term including win at Sligo two starts back and second at Roscommon since. This a tougher race but he is clearly going the right way and handles conditions so merits respect.
Consistent performer who ran well here earlier in the week over 1m½f when only beaten 2½L into third. Won over this trip before so step back no problem and with the champion jockey up he can't easily be dismissed.
Had a few of these rivals infront when last seen at Killarney and with no change to his handicap mark it is tough to make a compelling case.
Maiden of 12 starts is yet to make the frame in six turf races. Handicap falling but soundly beaten in all races this season so hard to fancy.
Unplaced in five starts to date although competitive in two starts this term. Soft ground an unknown and had a break since last run. First Reserve.

TRUFFLES fairly bolted up over C&D earlier in the week beating several of these rivals in the process. She has to saddle a 6lb penalty here but that may not be enough to deny her if in the same vein of form so she is the selection here. Rock Sound is one potential fly in the ointment. This Dermot Weld three-year-old is very unexposed but has a win under his belt already. There are plenty of others with claims including Keep Believing who had been in good form prior to his saddle slipping last time out.
- Truffles
- Rock Sound
- Keep Believing
