Consistent performer who had been running well in stronger company before a stylish win back at this grade. 6lb penalty and career high mark to overcome but should be a leading contender again.
Clearly likes it here as both wins have come over the C&D. 6lb penalty isn't a worry but the addition of blinkers were clearly a key last time and they need to be equally as effective again.
Finished last campaign with a good third over further and will appreciate this drop back to the minimum trip. Resumes on a good mark and goes well fresh but would have preferred a soft surface.
Dropped back to his last winning mark when scoring at Pontefract. Penalty to overcome but promising apprentice negates the rise with his claim. Should be involved again.
Fourth (one place in front of Classic Pursuit) to Tallinski last start but gets a handy reverse in the weights. Likeable veteran who has dropped to a handy mark and looks a contender.
Has largely struggled this campaign and last win came in November 2016. Handicapper is relenting but looks likely to be up against it again in this company.
Tallinski is closely matched with Seamster and Classic Pursuit from his C&D win but may struggle to confirm the placings on these terms. Any rain would bring Ladweb into consideration while the consistent Jashma looks sure to be involved again with his apprentice halving the rise in weights. KING CRIMSON is thriving at present and following a battling latest success could be hard to peg back from the front again.
