Has just done enough to win her last two handicaps off marks of 72 and 73 including a C&D success on similar ground. Work to do off this revised mark but a good 5lb claimer redresses the balance.
Took advantage of a favourable weight at Wetherby but well-beaten off this mark at Pontefract last time. This easier track should help but there are better handicapped horses against him.
Won his first two races but has drawn a blank since and is inconsistent nowadays. Has a clear chance on his Chester second in June but less so on his two starts since. Handles soft ground.
Behind Alfred Richardson at Wetherby but 6lb better off for 4L and improved on that at Ayr last time. Handled an easy surface well enough on debut and stable's horses have been running a lot better.
€250,000 half-brother to Belardo by Nathaniel who has improved since going handicapping. Held up in a slowly run race last time and best judged on his C&D second. Has a race of this nature in him.
His two best performances have come with some give underfoot and he gets in here off a career low mark. Stable have had three winners in the past 10 days.
Nicely weighted being just 1lb higher than when last successful in September (7f). At her best with some give underfoot, but there are serious stamina doubts having failed to stay in both starts over an extended mile.
Kempton winner (1m) has shaped well in two turf starts on softer surfaces, most recently in higher grade. Has stamina on the dam's side and a big run seems likely.
Failed to show any significant improvement on handicap debut. May do so here as he now tackles a trip more in line with his pedigree, off a lower mark and with favourable underfoot conditions.
Eight-race maiden has done most of his racing in weaker races on AW surfaces. Has been on the sidelines for nearly four months and others are preferred.

Nuits St Georges (9/4), Global Style (5/1), Quoteline Direct (5/1), Blue Medici (6/1), Tebay (7/1), Fire Leopard (10/1), Harbour Pilot (10/1), Alfred Richardson (12/1), Andok (14/1), Our Greta (20/1), Sunhill Lad (28/1)
The likes of Tebay, Nuits St Georges and Harbour Pilot are open to improvement over this trip on soft ground, whilst Fire Leopard and Alfred Richardson look fully weighted. Global Style has shown enough to suggest he can pick up a race or two but his yard are finding winners hard to come by and BLUE MEDICI is fancied to come out on top this time. Marjorie Fife has her horses going well at present following a quiet spell and her lightly raced son of Medicean has looked a shade unlucky on both handicap starts. Nevertheless he has continued to progress and will hopefully have learned enough to come out on top this time.
- Blue Medici
- Global Style
