No Nay Never filly, cost 420,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to six winners, most notably a Group 3 winner. Dam a 1m winner. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and yard can ready a debutante. Worth watching in the market.

War Command filly, cost 12,000 gns as a foal. Half-sister to six winners around this trip. Dam a 5f winner as a juvenile and stayed further. Looked green on debut at Newbury and needs to leave that effort behind.

More Than Ready filly, dam a Group 3 winner and half-sister to a juvenile winner over 7f. Ran with promise on debut at Ripon and should improve for that. Yard's first-string.

Dark Angel filly, cost £56,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to Group 1 winner over this trip. Plenty to like about her on paper but yard's runners have been a little below form in recent weeks and others preferred.

Orb filly, cost $14,000 as a foal, $60,000 as a yearling and 130,000 gns as a Breeze-up purchase. Dam a winner including as a juvenile over 1m. Interesting to see what the market makes of her but yard's debutantes can be in need of the run.

Tamayuz filly. Related to several winners at various levels. Dam a winner over 6f & 7f including a Group 3 and is a sister to Group 2 winner Haatef. Looked green throughout debut at Sandown but should improve and may appreciate this step up to 6f.
Slade Power filly, half-sister to eight winners including a useful sort from this yard. Dam a Cheveley Park winner on final start. Beautifully bred and could be the main clue on debut but second string on jockey bookings.

Dutch Art filly, dam a juvenile winner. Likely to want further than this and her debut at Kempton suggested as much when staying on late over this trip.

Shamardal filly out of listed winner Semayyel who cost 260,000 gns as a yearling. Disappointed when favourite on debut at Sandown but produced an improved run at Newbury just last week when fourth of 16. Not ruled out with more progress likely.

Zebedee filly, cost 7,500 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners and dam a half-sister to Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner. Has run okay in defeat in two starts to date but plenty more needed here and Moore prefers Alhakmah.

Charm Spirit filly, cost 120,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to four winners and dam a half-sister to a Grade 1 winner in US. Good third on debut and the fourth from that day has franked the form since. Wears first-time hood and should go well.

Forecasts

Alhakmah (4/1), Yourtimeisnow (9/2), Welcoming (5/1), Desert Lantern (11/2), Glass Slippers (10/1), Quarry Beach (11/1), Parliament House (11/1), Aim Power (12/1), Munaajaat (20/1), Sabai Sabai (28/1), Lovin (33/1), Disco Doris (40/1), Time For Bed (50/1), Mrs Worthington (50/1), Dancing Warrior (66/1), Isabella Red (80/1), Feel Glorious (125/1)

Verdict

Mark Johnston won this last year and aims at two at this year's renewal for the same owners. Desert Lantern would appear to be the first-string on jockey bookings and has the benefit of experience here, she's expected to go well. However YOURTIMEISNOW ran well behind a couple with experience on debut at Newmarket and the horse placed behind her that day has won since. Clive Cox does well with his juveniles and Welcoming showed enough on debut to be of interest here.
  1. Yourtimeisnow
  2. Desert Lantern
  3. Welcoming
