Course winner at this meeting 12-months ago who has also won over this trip. Two victories to his name on the tight turns of Chester to his name this season could make a bold bid once again.
Not disgraced in three starts this season including a couple of third places over a similar distance. Looks a progressive type and worth a market check.
British raider who is two turf wins from 10 starts on the Flat both over 7f. Won over a mile on Newcastle's Tapeta surface last month but this is a different proposition here.
Has finished runner-up on two occasions this month at Leopardstown and Naas in 1m handicaps. Improvement in form has coincided with an upturn in the stables fortunes and worthy of consideration here.
Distance winner who has been in solid and consistent form this term winning at Leopardstown and Tipperary last month. Beaten since but entitled to make the shortlist.
Course winner at this meeting 12-months ago landing a 7f handicap on soft to heavy ground beating 16 rivals ½L. Well held since in a number of below par displays including when never nearer on a couple of spins this term.
Winner of three of his last four starts including a win at the Curragh in a 1m2f handicap off a 9lb lower mark on last start in May. Likable type who should be in the mix.
Solid form this season including a 4L defeat when finishing seventh of 30 in the Britannia Stakes at the royal meeting last month. Open to plenty of improvement and enters calculations.
Landed a 16/1 shock when winning a Limerick handicap on good ground last month finishing 1L ahead of 10 rivals before a 12L defeat at Gowran Park over 7f running off his new mark. Plenty to prove at present.
Got a much deserved win in a Curragh 1m handicap off a 5lb lower mark finishing ½L ahead of Tony The Gent following a number of solid displays since April. Likely to run well once again.
Distance winner who comes here on a hat-trick following wins at Tipperary and in a Killarney 1m handicap earlier this month. Rates an each way contender here.
Far from disgraced in a number of promising displays in the season since June. Not easy to discount and could go well at a price in first-time visor.
Has been running well in a couple of maiden contests last month but may find this a tall order on handicap debut.
