Well held in a couple of disappointing performances this month but her win here over 7f last month puts the Footstepsinthesand filly right in the mix here.
Epaulette colt, cost €47,000 as a foal and €95,000 as a yearling. Related to a couple of 1m juvenile winners and has a decent middle distance pedigree. Well down the field in three career starts to date and may need the spin on seasonal bow.
Dropped a couple of pound for two disappointing starts when racing keenly within the last month over 1m. Chances in this grade if settling in the race.
Promising run at Brighton last month doesn't disguise the fact that the Compton Place filly is a little short on ability and may find this a struggle on track debut.
Has failed to build on a promising third of seven at Brighton on debut last season with a number of dispiriting starts, mostly at Southwell. Market could be informative with in form claimer on board for track debut.
Appears to be improving with every run including when second of 10 beaten 2¼L over C&D earlier this month and looks a leading player.
Filly by Rip Van Winkle who has generally disappointed in a number of starts over a variety of trips. Hard to fancy until she shows a hint of ability.
Modest filly who has beaten just one of her 23 rivals home in her last three starts. Others preferred.
Well held when finishing down the field in three career starts since February. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
Forecasts
Blyton Lass (2/1), Matewan (3/1), Lucifugous (15/2), Racehorse (10/1), Chickpea (12/1), Lady Of Petra (12/1), Chasing Diamonds (14/1), Angel Of The North (16/1), Ipcress File (33/1)
The improving form of Havana Gold filly BLYTON LASS can continue here following her second of 10 beaten 2¼L over C&D earlier this month and can land the spoils under jockey Franny Norton, who once again takes the ride. The David O'Meara-trained Lucifugous and potential improver over this trip Racehorse can hit the frame.
- Blyton Lass
- Lucifugous
- Racehorse
