Best effort to date posted when third at Chepstow last time out; and has been given a chance by the handicapper now she races from a 2lb lower mark. This longer trip and modest previous efforts on this surface raise causes for concern though.

On a handy mark but recently form has been uninspiring and comes here with a good bit to prove. Pulled up when tried here in May so also doubts about ability on the surface.

Good effort here latest and likely to be suited by dropping back in trip. Still a maiden but holds a fair chance of altering the status in this company.

Back on the Flat for a new yard after an unsuccessful spell over hurdles. Yet to race on this surface another query and has to be noted that others look more convincing.

Very well handicapped on the pick of his old form but yet to win a race from 14 previous starts ion the AW. Tried blinkers after a visor and cheekpieces failed to work the oracle and now has a bit to prove.

Kept busy since introduced in April and still has a bit of scope for improvement. Fair effort over 2m at Beverly latest gives her sound place claims on her return to an AW surface.

Placed only once from 15 previous starts and makes limited appeal back on the Flat after two moderate efforts over hurdles of late.

Gained reward for a string of consistent efforts when winning over C&D last time out. Carries 4lb more and faces slightly stiffer company but has to merit consideration as he arrives here in good heart.

Holds scope for improvement at the trip and comes into this on the back of a sound effort at Chelmsford. Up just 1lb and definitely one to keep a close eye on in the betting market.

Made a respectable start for his new yard over C&D last time but work to do if he's going to reverse the form with Onefootinfront and may again have to settle for a minor role.

Unexposed but needs to build considerably on what she's shown so far. Trainer excels with this sort of animal but likely the filly will find at least a couple more wily.

Feasible place claims if able to up his game and better his recent efforts. Tries a new trip, so possible he can rise to the challenge. But is another that looks held on a form line linking Onefootinfront.

Verdict

ONEFOOTINFRONT is up 4lb for winning over C&D last time out but looks the safest option in a race full of pitfalls. Penny Poet has put in a couple of sound efforts lately and, as dropping back in trip may suit, the mare is rated as the biggest threat. Mount Cleshar, Duggary and Lyford can make it an interesting scrap to fill the frame.
