Gabrial The Wire²⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: Adam J McNamara⁽³⁾| T: R A Fahey| OR: 88| CD

8/11

All three starts have come at this track and got his head in front last time when scooting to an easy success. Has to carry his penalty but sets a decent standard and should run another big race. Jockey/trainer won this race last year.

Thegreatestshowman³⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: D C Costello| T: Miss A Murphy| OR: 83| D

7/4

Equiano colt who scored at Brighton last month before a mid division finish in the listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. This is much easier and is entitled to go close.

(2)

March For Men⁴⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Alistair Rawlinson| T: Tom Dascombe

25/1

Beat one home on debut at Hamilton having looked very green and this might prove a tough task. Yard does very well here though so worth noting for any market move.

Form: 6

(4)

Emily's Rose¹²

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: J Mitchell| T: Steph Hollinshead

33/1

Showed speed on debut at Wolverhampton over 6f before tiring inside the distance. Drop back a furlong may help the cause but this is a stronger race. Looks the type for nurseries in due course.

Form: 7

(5)

She Can Boogie¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: Liam Jones| T: Tom Dascombe| OR: 73

9/1

Doesn't have much to find with the two previous winners on official figures. Likes to blast off in front and only just caught here last time. In receipt of 10lb from might take some pegging back so well worth considering.

Form: 072

Forecasts

Gabrial The Wire (8/11), Thegreatestshowman (7/4), She Can Boogie (9/1), March For Men (25/1), Emily's Rose (33/1)

SHE CAN BOOGIE is taken to upset the two previous winners by making full use of the wieght she receives. She was only caught close home here last time and a similar peformance may just be good enough. Thegreatestshowman last competed in the Windsor Castle Stakes and wasn't disgraced so shouldn't be at all far away, nor should the other previous winner Gabrial The Wire, who has shown he acts really well at this track and won easily last time.
