Both wins for David Elsworth have come in 1m handicaps at Kempton, the latter in early June. Starts out for a new yard after a break now, and market should guide.

Won off 6lb lower mark at Lingfield in May, and has run respectably on both starts since, while giving the impression he's rather summed up by his current mark.

Won twice at Brighton at up to this trip in July, and did well trying to defy a double penalty at Chepstow last time. Up another 2lb now, but should still give a solid account.

Runner-up at Kempton in February, but not quite the same force on turf, and latest 2L last of four at Windsor a fair reflection of his current merit.

On a lengthy losing run, and best efforts this season have come on AW. Just a fair third in a claimer at Wolverhampton last time, and others more convincing again.

Forecasts

Del Parco (1/1), Starboy (11/4), Motown Mick (3/1), Maksab (6/1), Mudallel (7/1), Dance Teacher (11/1), Juan Horsepower (16/1)

Verdict

He keeps creeping up the weights, but STARBOY still looks fairly treated in the context of this race, and looks the best option to supplement his Brighton gains. Del Parco was beaten just over a length in a stronger C&D event in May, and will go well if in the same for after a break, with Maksab another to consider on form at this track.
  1. Starboy
  2. Del Parco
  3. Maksab
