Often hooded in the past, but may have benefited from removal of headgear when winning 10-runner event at Killarney last time by neck from Just Sherry. Needs to find a little more to defy a 5lb rise, but respected nonetheless.
Slightly disconcerting that he remains a maiden, finding less than looked likely when runner-up at Roscommon last time, but looks very fairly treated on form, and sure to be on the premises once more.
Largely progressive this year, winning in trio of handicaps at up to 1¼m, and better than ever when scoring by a head at Ballinrobe on Monday. Drop in trip a slight worry given how well she stayed on there.
Scored over C&D for Jim Bolger in June, and ran well upped in trip when second at Navan last time. New yard winless this season, though, and possibly best to look elsewhere on first start since switching stables.
Still a maiden, but ran best race when 2¾L second of 9 to Iron Blue in handicap at Gowran last time, and stayed on well enough to suggest he was worth another try at this trip (seemed not to stay on previous attempt).
Showed ability in three quick qualifying runs at Dundalk over the winter, but ran badly on handicap/turf debut over C&D last month, and now has something to prove.
Limited impact in four runs last year for Dave Loughnane, and fared no better starting out for new yard at Bellewstown early this month, although would have been entitled to have needed that outing after a break.
Belatedly off the mark in a 7f maiden claimer at Roscommon last month, but rather disappointing to see her finish a moderate fifth of 7 at Dundalk last time, and needs to find her best form to have a chance.
Has been shaping well on recent starts, although again seemed to find this sort of trip on the sharp side when 3L fourth of 10 to Passing Trade in handicap at Bellewstown last time, and will benefit from a return to further. Cheekpieces tried now.
Best effort for Lee Smyth when runner-up on soft ground at Naas in November, but has shown little for a couple of different yards since, and easy enough to swerve in current form.
Has found his level of late in headgear, and came from further back than the pair who beat him when third at Killarney last time. Blinkers worn for first time there are retained, and shortlisted.

CHAPARRAL DREAM shaped very well in blinkers last time, and could be the answer to a tricky handicap with the headgear retained. Raphael is a big danger, but there is a feeling that he doesn't put it all in in a finish, and he may flatter to deceive again. Miss Zizi raced without her usual hood when winning last time, and that may prove the key to her, so she isn't discounted despite a rise in the weights.
