Second to Kilbaha Lady (runs in first division) at Nottingham last time having gone very close at Carlisle on previous start. In good form and 1lb rise looks fair so should be right on the premises.
Completetly tailed off on first five starts (three bumpers), then finished third at 150/1 latest at Carlisle in novice stakes over this trip. May have been flattered by that place and more needed here but could have turned the corner.
Just 2-42 so far and ran poorly last time at Ripon after 70-day break. Ideally suited by some give underfoot so any rain would help. On balance has something to prove.
Dark Angel gelding. Dam half-sister to Group 1 winner at 1m and 1m2f so looks the part on paper but showed little in three starts. Handicap bow for yard that does well in this sphere and could well improve significantly.
Scored here last term over 1m2f and ran satisfactory race last time when fourth at similar level at Nottingham. Eased 2lb so not without hope.
Veteran mare closing in on her 100th start. Eight wins to her name but hans't scored for two years and is 20lb lower than last win. Clearly on the decline and others make more appeal.
14-race maiden but has gone close on a few occasions and got no sort of a run last time at Leicester when stayed on late. Yard in fine form so looks one of the livelier outsiders despite being 1lb out of the handicap.
Mid-division finisher here last autumn and ran OK last time when third at Carlisle. Slower ground would help so any rain would be a welcome boost to prospects.

TRAVEL TALK is the call having run well on his last two starts and he still looks to be on the right side of the handicapper. A big danger may be Sir Mark Prescott's Grey Spirit who is a typical potential improver from the yard on handiap bow and any market support would tell its own story. Ninepin Bowler comes form a yard in form and didn't run badly last time on his first run for a while, and Majestic Stone and Diamond Runner are others who may not be far away either.
