Pulled up on debut for this yard but put in a better effort when beaten 23L over an extended 2m last time out. Wears a tongue tie for the first time.

Best effort since returning from a break came when finishing 6L second over 2m5f on good ground when making his chasing debut here last time out. Races off the same mark and is likely to run well once more.

Sole success came off a 15lb higher mark on good-to-firm ground at Towcester (2m4f) in May last year. Disappointing in the main since including under this rider on her seasonal debut last month.

Running well in defeat in recent starts most recently when finishing 6L fourth over 2m1f at Market Rasen (good) a week ago. Races off the same mark is one for the shortlist in this contest.

Struggled in the main under Rules in 2017 and it's been a similar story in two point-to-point runs this spring. Probably best watched racing from out of the handicap.

Failed to complete the last twice most recently when falling three out having been headed over an extended 2m at Worcester (good) a month ago. Others make more appeal racing from out of the handicap.

Had wind surgery prior to joining this yard and improved on his Ffos Las sixth in May when beaten 17L at Worcester (good) over an extended 2m last time out. Likely more needed from out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Two Hoots (5/2), Admiral Kid (3/1), Spoilt Rotten (3/1), Opechee (6/1), Brinestine (8/1), Welsh Designe (9/1), Rakaia Rosa (16/1), Valshan Time (20/1), The Kvilleken (28/1)

Verdict

ADMIRAL KID put in a good effort on chase debut last time and he can go one better with that experience under his belt. Two Hoots has been in decent form of late and he can finish second while third place can go the way of Opechee who is returning from a lengthy absence.
  1. Admiral Kid
  2. Two Hoots
  3. Opechee
