French import, never looked like opening account in three UK starts last year, including over this trip at Catterick (soft). Off 215 days ahead of debut for new yard. Has plenty to find on form.
Now a 14-race maiden, has run some promising races in that time but essentially passed up a golden chance when 5/4 favourite in Bellewstown maiden over this trip eight days ago, finishing 4L fourth.
Maiden, has shown some ability in five-race career but held in both handicaps so far and may need some more relief from the assessor before her turn comes.
Canford Cliffs filly who made a winning start in 5f maiden at Dundalk in December and just touched off over 6f there in January. Poor in pair of turf runs since the break however and something to prove.
Prolific at Dundalk for David Marnane, but well held in two starts there for current yard, and plenty to prove back on turf.
Placed over 6f at Leicester (good-to-firm) last July but failed to beat a rival home in two starts for this yard last autumn. Perhaps will have needed recent Tipperary outing, watch betting.
Sole win in 21 handicap outings came at Bellewstown last August over 5f, ran to similar level penultimate start at Naas in June but last week's Bellewstown effort sent her back to the drawing board.
Started this campaign with a trio of solid runs but most recent efforts at Fairyhouse and Bellewstown (5f, good to firm) were steps in the wrong direction. Cheekpieces added now in bid to revive him.
Had dropped to a workable mark and took advantage to score over 5f (good to firm) at Bellewstown eight days ago, just holding on. Up 5lb and facing tough task in follow-up attempt.
There or thereabouts in three runs over C&D this season and no reason not to suspect he'll give his running again, place claims.
Shaped with plenty of promise in two starts last spring, and off 14 months before recent outings at Fairyhouse and Bellewstown, may still be more to come.
Both wins for current yard have come after a break. In good heart recently, going close over this trip at Bellewstown last week. Can be involved again.
76-rated handicapper last term for trainer Charles Hills but well held in three starts for this handler, failing to beat a rival home back on turf at Sligo last time. Drops to minimum distance for the first time.
Won his last two starst at Naas over 6f, also goes well over this trip. Handicapper adds another 3lb this time for narrow success a week ago.
Runner-up twice before landing low-grade handicap at this track last month, but she has struggled off higher marks in three starts since.
Took advantage of reduced mark when holding on gamely at Tipperary two starts back, was all out to hold on there. Capable from this sort of mark but failed to fire at Bellewstown since.
Placed on the AW last year but struggled in three starts since returning to turf. Handicap mark is falling as a result but others hold stronger claims.
Struggling for form at turn of the year, but 3ÂĽ lengths fourth of 8 to Soffia at Down Royal penultimate start was encouraging. Not able to back that up since at Bellewstown and hard to place trust in.
Maiden, went agonisingly close at Tipperary (5f, good) penultimate start but didn't see things out as strong since at Bellewstown and liable to settle for place money at best.
Finished ½L second to Sweetest Taboo at Bellewstown eight days ago, turned out again two days later at Fairyhouse and didn't fire. Record of 1-29 suggests the latter is more reliable form.
Forecasts
Landline (6/1), Early Call (6/1), Gopsies Daughter (8/1), Snow Patch (8/1), Art Of Unity (8/1), Haqeeba (9/1), Blastofmagic (11/1), Sweetest Taboo (12/1), Canford Art (16/1), Ar Saoirse (16/1), Rego Park Lady (20/1), Fabric (20/1), Serabrina (20/1), Jenniechild (20/1), Catwilldo (25/1), Guiding Star (25/1), Split The Atom (28/1), Social Butterfly (33/1), Elegant Emmeline (33/1), Kareva (33/1)
LANDLINE is running well and won't mind the drop to this trip in a bid to complete the hat-trick. He battled on well to score by a head over 6f at Naas last time and should be right there once more despite a 3lb rise. Guiding Star would have a chance on her Bellewstown second behind Sweetest Taboo, who may find things tougher now from 5lb higher. Snow Patch runs well here and can do so again while Early Call isn’t dismissed despite passing up a good chance in maiden company last time.
