Showed some promise on debut at Nottingham and outran his odds of 40/1 when fourth in Listed class over C&D last time out. Needs another step forward to make her presence felt here.

Produced an encouraging debut run here on the Rowley Course and justified favouritism in a maiden at Haydock next time out. Ran with credit in a Group 3 at Royal Ascot last time and clearly going the right way at present.

Didn't need to improve from his debut to win a novice event at Leicester last time, justifying short odds of 1/3 fav. Plenty to like about the way she did that but needs a huge step forward to have a say at this level.

Won her debut at Dundalk and not beaten far in Listed class at Naas subsequently but seemingly didn't have any excuses when well beaten at Royal Ascot last time out behind some of these. Needs more.

Impressive when she won by a distance at Windsor in May and not disgraced at Royal Ascot when fifth of 22 in the Queen Mary. Failed to justify favouritism back at Windsor last time but was probably given too much to do. Each-way claims.

Off the mark in maiden company on her third start and only narrowly denied in the Queen Mary last time out. Clearly thriving at present and may improve for the step back up in trip alone. Leading contender.

Impressive when winning by 3L at Kempton on debut and took a huge step forward when runner-up to Main Edition in the Albany (Group 3). Had some of these in behind that day and she ought to run well with more progress likely.

Improved from novice company to make all and win the Group 3 Albany at Royal Ascot last time. Plenty to like about that effort and she could be hard to peg back once again with very little pace in the race. Leading player.

Won at Yarmouth on debut and ran well just one week later when fifth in the Albany at Royal Ascot. Ought to be capable of more progress and the booking of De Sousa is a positive.

La Pelosa (5/2), Main Edition (11/4), Chaleur (11/2), Gossamer Wings (11/2), Angel's Hideaway (13/2), Pretty Pollyanna (20/1), Chicas Amigas (25/1), Come On Leicester (25/1), Alicia Darcy (100/1)

Verdict

MAIN EDITION was impressive when winning from the front at Royal Ascot last time and she's taken to confirm the form with her re-opposing rivals here. Aidan O'Brien won this race last year and Gossamer Wings ran well over five furlongs when narrowly denied and may improve for the step up in trip. La Pelosa should be capable of more progress on just her third start and she wasn't beaten far by the selection for the race last time in the Albany.
